it may say that for you, and that's great, but from my standpoint these pages are boring as shit with little convo. Only convo seems to be on the steelers threads and about blue waffles

I dunno. The Politics forum has some lively conversation about what's going on in Turkey.

There is a way to fix that. Of course, I wouldn't expect the prince of the dynamite drop in to contribute much of substance.

It's been the same 10 people circle jerking since it was formed, for the most part. I occasionally contribute to a thread over there if I find the topic interesting enough to swim through all of the Tea.

It may be the same people, but it's still lively. They don't all seem to be agreeing (a given in a political discussion), and some get pretty animated (proverbially) about it.

Tea?

I've noticed that too. I was quite surprised how many new posts, in the wrestling forum, that show up when I launch Tapatalk.

Just a quick check shows 28 viewing wrestling, and 24 viewing this forum...at noonish on a weekday. Quite telling as to the direction this site should potentially head imo.

High school direction I guess. I noticed the trend a month or so ago and was a little surprised. Not sure why all the sudden such a destination for wrastlin' talk, maybe a little outside promotion by users?

Maybe, just maybe there's a crescendo of interest as the winter season nears Conference and State Tournament time.

I think its due to a couple of factors. One being one really long not so 'cool story Bro'. The other being the time if year. District talk, Brakeman, and the like.

I'm not a follower, but I did get the cool story bro drift from the eligibility thread, but damn that's a lot of traffic for it to me.

I think that thread could happen on many forums, as the key ingredients seem to be controversy (re: the actual eligibility issue) combined with an OP who's definitely passionate about this issue to the degree that when this is all over, there will be roughly 500,000 words typed about it JUST BY HIM. Which has paid off in new (likely temporary) posters, as it seems like a good dozen or so noobs have popped up in the past week or two to take an anti-OP stance.

While I can't compare exact traffic numbers from incidents, I'd guess things like the Tattoo 5 incident probably had the same sort (on a lesser scale) of spike for the CFB board, with the key difference being how some people are more tied in to the wrestling situation than the OSU situation.

It's tournament time and sectional/district discussion time and this forum, while run by an incompetant jerk, is actually pretty well set up. That and ohiowrestlingsite has been bombarded with spam for a while so wrestling discussion is pretty much here and Yappi now.
