I don't know much about Norton, but it looks like over the last couple of years they have not been all that good. I am not sure this would be all that good for the Falcons.
Norton has not been good at all, with a 6 win season about 7 or 8 years ago, a couple 4 wins, a few 2 wins, and a couple 1 wins early 2000's , however they play a mostly D2 and D3 schedule and they are D3 themselveS. So they will probably average 3 or 4 wins at most, but those will be against D2 and D3 teams, so much more point potential than Mapleton's D5 and D6 schedule with 1 or 2 wins at most.

Norton seems to be struggling the past few seasons, would playing and beating them give the Falcons enough points Tiles make a huge play off difference?

Just looked at website and the teams with open dates for week 1 and are looking for games are as follows

Bellaire (2 year contract)
Ironton Rock Hill ( 2 year contract)
Smithville ( 2 year) didnt realize they were looking for a week 1 replacement

looking for a home game week 1 Minford
away game St Henry, Berne Union

didnt specify Loveland, Youngstown Cardinal Mooney., Youngstown East, Youngstown Ursiline, Hamilton New Miami, St Clairesville and Carrollton.......

I personally think it would be beneficial to just schedule that week one year at a time. May get some killer 1 and done games.......
downside......probably have to travel alot and have 4 game home seasons on occasion
upside.........fit the strength of that years team to the opponent
