Simply a hypothetical, of course!

I agree there Beast, I just guess it is a good thing that Norwayne will have 9 games to hold their heads up high and get all their practicing out of the way , before they get deflated. I am sure you have a very good team up there in Bobcat country. But that is why we play the games on Friday nights. Good luck cause your going to need it.

You're just not going to get consistent play and your defense is also likely to be far ahead of your offense (not to mention when you have a kid playing qb that has never really played the position.) I think we're going to be pleasantly surprised at times this year and pulling our hair out at others. We had some many of the same kids start for the last 3-4yrs, it will be a different game to be so young, but that's the way it goes some years.

i agree 100%

Well you know that schools are suppose to have "zero tolerance" for any hazing or bullying incident. We will have to see just how much "zero" equals in Norwayne. Bet ya we don't see it.

Before we judge the zero tolerance policy of a school or a team, we would need to first determine if the alledged incident actually happened.

Its quite disgusting and the people involved need to be dealt with. It's not right to do it in the first place but to do it and put it online for everyone to see..thats just asking for trouble

Bears have a Smithville, Norwayne, Hillsdale 3 week run...so you may get us a little beat up....might be better for ya'll that way ;)

Palmer a senior is out for season, had acl surgery a year ago. Forget name of other player, did not reconize name, probably a Jr. or Soph.

According to jmar25 horrible, hopefully a little better than that! We are much healthier now, with Wiley and Steiner back. If we stay healty and get Buss back I think the boys can have a nice season.

There's a big difference between on the field speculation (you see a player limping and come here to talk about it, but it ends up he's fine), and bringing up off the field stuff (parties, crime, hazing) from third parties.

This is not the place for the off the field stuff, and it never will be. When that stuff starts, the discussion turns away from football, and then parents and administrators start sending messages. It's just something that should be avoided, and it's common sense. If the information can be sourced (link it to a newspaper or something), then it's fair game IMO, but otherwise it's just baseless junk that have nothing to do with football.

It has everything to do with football....the line-up would change drastically!!!! Funny thing is...The "school mentioned" must have had a rep contact you and complain.....just look at the Northwest - Orrville thread with "The Rumors" of kids drinking....and the "Rumors" of kids being suspended....I never saw a link or video to confirm that!!! Just saying....this is further proof of something smelling like a rat!!!

Edit: and yes i saw that was edited...but later confirmed that A team will be missing starters...

I got it...I'll guide my posts as tightly as a wedgie in a buttcrack!!!

All posts mentioning the rumor were unapproved for the time being. Yes, I was contacted by someone from the school. If you can provide the video I'll re-approve the posts. Maybe.

Who cares? Let's move on with football, and pick this story and it's impact on the league up if it turns out to be true.

the weather forcast this Friday for the Wayne County area looks AWESOME.

That "rumor" was unapproved pretty fast after it was posted, then the poster whined, and GoChiefs made fun of him.

Unless people have definitive proof, problems arise when we get the "Someone told me (but I can't tell you who) that some players (but I can't give you names) were drinking and are suspended". If people bring facts, it's fine. But if they're vague, it just turns into a mess, even if it's true.
