Got mine in Tuesday. It is really an amazing phone. They sent me a Laptop Dock too, and it's pretty crazy the stuff you can do with this device.

Looks pretty cool. Not much of a fan of that commercial. Takes far too long to show the features of the phone. However, once the commercial starts getting to the features... it is really neat. A lot of great features. Just waiting for Apple's response

Throw HTC Sense on there and I'd get it in a heartbeat. :)

Not a fan of the Sense UI, either.

Give me stock Android any day of the week and I'd be happy. I hate that the manufacturers have to mess with it to "make it their own." Just leave it alone, it's fine.

Sense is really the only UI I like. I hate blur and the basic android UI. If it weren't for HTC I'd likely still have an iphone.

AT&T will carry this one exclusively.

Darn. Oh well. Verizon will get another Droid phone. They seem to get a new one every month. Lol

Droid Bionic will be the next Motorola phone out at Verizon. It's a beast of a phone as well.

I am not much of a fan of motorola usually, but their upcoming gadgets look beastly. As long as they get rid of Blur...I am sure they will all be awesome.

That wasn't you was it Sherm?

I wish they would open up their phones a bit. This and the bionic look like very nice devices.

I am going to hang out with the 3g phones for a little while longer since I won't sniff 4g service around these parts for a while.

LOL...it wasn't me. But we had a mass email come out regarding that comment on YouTube. I laughed for a minute straight and immediately thought of this thread.

The Atrix will probably hit AT&T stores with about a $199 price point for new customers/qualified upgrades. The date on that Amazon leak is about right...just about the time Verizon launches the iPhone 4.

Apple's response, what are you talking about? The iphone 4 that is releasing on Verizon next month is already better than this phone. Just wait and see the long lines to buy the phone.

Long lines don't mean the phone is better. Long lines mean that there are a lot of people who are sheep. The Atrix has a better camera, better processor, more RAM, more memory, and faster speeds.

But you're right...people are going to line up in droves to buy the iPhone, and they are going to be stuck with a phone that is out of date for 2 years.

Sherm, what is the deal with these companies doing away with discounted rates for phones when you upgrade? Does this mean I have to pay 500 bucks if I want to upgrade to another top of the line phone....when I am eligible?

I haven't heard of any cell company doing away with that. Are you referring to Verizon doing away with the "New Every Two" program?

New Every Two was a Verizon program that, when you upgraded your phone (as long as you had a plan of $34.99 or higher), you got either a $30 or $50 credit off the device. This was in addition to the discounted price you qualified for signing a new 2 year contract.

So you'll still be getting phones for around $200 when your contract is up. You just won't get that little extra off anymore.
