My wife and I were talking last night about the fact that, in addition to our "regular" jobs, we also have other regular streams of income from side projects we do. She restores and flips antiques in her mom's shop on Medina Square. I do some Internet marketing (which, some weeks, makes me more than my "regular job").
I got to wondering. What other OCers have side incomes to supplement their resources?

I "volunteer" at a local Bingo hall, which pays cash. However, I had to quit that because I'm currently coaching HS basketball, which is unpaid and I had to come out of pocket about $250 to get certified.
During football season, I park cars at OSU home games and make $400 per home game.

I work on a farm. I've been working there since I was 15 and although I'll get other 1st jobs, I still keep this job. I just like the atmosphere, playing with animals and learning about them, and I can make my own hours.

Systems Integration for my previous employer on the side. Pretty much get his evening and weekend calls. But it more than doubles my salary so it's worth it for now.

No. Just contract myself out to my former boss. Me and a buddy here at work got started on buying foreclosed houses and renting them, but we washed our hands free of them after he got married.

My moms friend owns a doggy daycare. I used to work for her twice a month (every other saturday) She usually gave 150 in cash. I stopped doing it once I started grad school. I cherish my weekend time way too much now

Was it not worth it to keep at it yourself? My wife and I have thought about doing this.

with my nights and weekends mostly shot from working, it woulda been too hard to keep up with it.

Refereed OHSSA Basketball for a few years, but I quit this year. I also regularly get some housesittng duties. About 10 days a month, which is great (unclaimed) income. That however will only be able to go for a couple more years, then Ill be looking to start a family.
