I work part time at Macy's. My husband has been out of work for 2.5 years. I actually like the job, like the people. Shorter shift like 3, 4, or 5 hours are ok. but 6,7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 hour shifts are killer on my feet and legs. I really HATE being required to try to get people to open credit cards and we are pushed so much on that, I really hate it.

I buy and sale stuff all the time. I love auctions and get really good deals most of the time. I love buying and selling guns too. Dont have much of an income right now cause of the shortage of product. I buy like crazy during summer months then sell during winter months. Helps out alot in the winter time.

Lady D'Friskies does the book-keeping for a small drug store in the area two nights a week - it was part of the "pay cash for the kids' college campaign. Even though the kids are finished with school, she still does it - she likes the job and the family who owns it. Now it's our vacation fund.

My employer won't let me work elsewhere due to conflict-of-interest possibilities - I have to sign an agreement every year to this end.

You can work the nights you want, the weekends you want, and I know some of them here that easily make between $100-$150 per week. Now that's working 3 games Saturday and Sunday, but you train around this time of the year, learn the rules that you don't know, and they start you out at the younger levels and you work your way up. You have to be comfortable with it, but I know guys who have done it for years. Now I have never argued with any ump (but some of my assistants have briefly), but as a Pony coach, and I've seen hundreds of calls missed, they balance out pretty well. All you can ask a base umpire at our level is that you get in position to make the call. If you do, you get it correct 99+% of the time. And this is some of the stuff they teach you in class. One thing: I would recommend you wear a cup.

This is a great way to make extra cash if youre willing to putin the time to be good at it

Yes, It can be good at times but you have to think outside the box sometimes when buying domains and marketing them.
Sedo and GoDaddy are good places to sell with little risk.

I've only heard of people selling on Flippa, but I believe most of those people are selling whole websites, not just domain names.

I mean, you said you sell websites, too, I know. Is Flippa higher risk?

No it is not high risk but I have been dealing with Sedo and GoDaddy for years and feel more comfortable with them.I do buy and sell websites on both Sedo and Godaddy. When buying websites I try and deal with the owners directly instead of using another site since I am the one paying. The big thing you have to watch is the fees and commissions that some sites charge if the website is sold while listed on their site.Sedo is always my first choice.
