Now I have never argued with any ump (but some of my assistants have briefly), but as a Pony coach, and I've seen hundreds of calls missed, they balance out pretty well. All you can ask a base umpire at our level is that you get in position to make the call. If you do, you get it correct 99+% of the time. And this is some of the stuff they teach you in class. One thing: I would recommend you wear a cup.
This is a great way to make extra cash if youre willing to putin the time to be good at it
