The amazing thing to me is maybe they are more "frugal" than given credit for - JWow was still living in the same shitty little house. Snooki's dad, apparently, still pays her credit card bill, but that could be just because she'd so stupid he's managing her finances.
Funny thing, though, is they all splurged on cars (what else is new for young people with money - go blow your last dollar on a car you can't afford, although they can). Several of them are driving Beamers (not sure, the low-end model retails in the 30's, though). Situation is driving a Range Rover. I think Pauly has an Escalade. Granted, they are making like $30k per episode this year, but I'm sure they all got those cars after Season1 when they were making like $5k an episode and no idea what would happen with the show.
