As you can see, not that many star centers in the west. The only two that you can considered a star is Yao and maybe Bynum. But both those players rarely played this year so I don't think they are worthy of an all-star spot. NeNe on the other hand is averaging 15 points and 7 rebound per game on a good Nuggets team, which are better stats than any other of the centers. I think he is deserving of the center spot in the west.

I would say Bynum would be there had he played more than 22 games.

Nene is a good pick though. And I would have absolutely no issue with him.

Why not just add Kevin Love as a F/C and solve the over crowded problem at Forward?

Love will be on the roster as a reserve, I would assume.

You're right.

Stern named the replacement for Yao, but Pop(or whoever is coaching the West that given year) gets to name a replacement starter.
