Do you use them?

I've always wondered why companies use yellow notepads. They just seem...I don't know, not as professional.

Thoughts?

Man that's really "food for thought". I'll get back to you with my thoughts on this pressing issue by July.

I typically use white legal pads. I too have never understood why the paper is usually yellow
I am sure there is some old school.explanation

Once again this thread confirms the internet is serious business.

That being said, I have always been told the reason for yellow legal pads was because the paper was recycled (actually the first recycled paper). Years ago before technology was better, the paper was dyed yellow so that everyone could not see the difference in whiteness from standard white paper. Even though the technology is now to the point where you can't tell from the white color whether paper was recycled or not, yellow legal pads have remained.

Actually, yellow is the legal color..... If you use a white one, that would make it illegal...

Although I do enjoy a free pizza and beer occasionally when I'm out with friends.

I use them for meetings, but I use the "illegal" ones.

Other than that, it's Excel.
