So IF the Browns ever make it to the Super Bowl, Steeler fans will get a free pass for being dicks to them?

Good to know.

Did Polamalu play tonight? Non-existent.

If the browns ever make it to the super bowl, will cheer for them in tribute to all my browns friends.

But apparently I am in the minority.

You won't have to worry about that scenario anyways.

Eh, I'm not being a dick, just honest. I'm glad the Packers won, but would have been ok with yourself and a few others enjoying a victory. I seriously wouldn't expect Steeler fans to rejoice in a Browns win of any kind that didn't benefit the Steelers.

Side note though, I like the Packers for a couple things, Vincent Lombardi and being the only fan owned franchise.

Ringz,

You may not know what football is by the time we make the super bowl....lol

Everyone thinks Colt Mcoy can win us some guys....the key word there is some...He is nowhere near the elite QB's of the NFL and he won't even get close....We got a lot of work to do before we make some deep runs.

sure, it's nice to see pittsburgh lose but it doesn't really go beyond that. browns fans are bred to hate the steelers and vice versa. i'm sure if the scenarios were reversed, the steelers fans would rather see the taliban win a championship than the browns. i've never experienced a championship like steeler fans have recently but i sure as hell hope (if it does happen) it doesn't feel like this. this just feels like the steelers lost not like the pure joy and euphoria that a browns superbowl would bring.

steelers got a helluva team and organization. they'll definitely be the favorites for the division again next year

I guess it is easy to root for championship teams when you have 2 prominently good teams per sport.

Couldn't agree more. Polamalu isn't even the best safety in the AFC North.

lets not go that far. polamalu, when healthy, is the best safety in the game. i'd say reed is a close second

Well the previous 7 times I pulled for the Steelers in every SB they've been in. I guessed I bandwagoned all the way back to the 70's. This year I went with GB due to a few Pittsburgh trollin in here. Every year I pull for one team or the other even though I have no dog in the fight.

I have mass respect for you and you can't take any of the lashing our personally right now. Most of the people poking fun at the Steelers are lashing out at a couple of Steelers trolls (Hahahaaaaa) Don't get caught up since it's not directed at you and most Steelers Fans.

Some of the ones I respected are coming to the defense of the trolls.

A lot of them are idiots. Some of those idiot writers also didn't vote in Cris Carter to the HOF.

So how did I go too far if Reed is a close second? Seems to me to be a reasonable debate. IMO, Reed is better.

touche. poor choice of words on my part. agree to disagree, i just think the steelers are more affected by polamalu not being in there than the ravens are when reed isn't in there

IMO, Polamalu is better. I've seen Reed look non-existent in the AFC title game and a couple other postseason games. Have yet to see how he looks in a Super Bowl.

Troy didn't have any picks but he made some pretty good open space tackles. My only issue with Troy is he plays with such abandon he's prone to injury, then again if he doesn't play as he does he's not nearly as effective.

The Steelers don't need a big brother to take care of business when it comes to the Browns.

I know you guys choked today, and because you can't handle it, you think that pointing out the obvious is going to help you get over what happened.

Whatever helps you. But don't act like your superiority over the Browns actually means anything considering they've been a crap team for a long time.
