What shit am I talking? Face it, you're butthurt because your team lost, and you're taking it out on me like I'm the only person to congratulate the Packers.

The Steelers choked. They were on a stage they've been on a couple times before, against a team that hasn't been there. Just because they were the underdog to people betting in games, doesn't mean they didn't have many of their own advantages.

They didn't come to play in the first half, therefore choking early.

Had they made the necessary plays/stops in the first half, they win this ball game. 3 turnovers = choke. Big Ben, who's usually good with ball protection played a crap Conference Championship and Super Bowl.

I don't even know WTF butthurt means. Of course I'm upset. My team just lost in the Super Bowl. What fan wouldn't be? You made digs at the Steelers and that's why there's backlash. And you're a liar because quite a few of us, including myself, congratulated the Packers and their fans. The Steeler lost to the better team tonight. I don't think they choked. But whether they did or didn't....it's all the same.

I never said that none of you guys congratulated the Packers. I thought that was a pretty clear statement on my part.

In your eyes you didn't choke. IMO, you guys did because you had the experience and played like you've never been on the big stage (at least for the first half). For such an experienced team, I thought they'd be in this for the entire game.

Regardless, they came through to make it an interesting end to the game, and one of the more entertaining Super Bowl's in recent years, as expected. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

I see the haters are celebrating in full force.

Congrats to the Packers they deserved to win. You can't expect to defeat a good football team when you turn the football over that many times.

The Steelers will regroup and get ready for another run next year.

I Agree. It seems in the past 11 years most of the Super Bowls have been highly competitive.

Pittsburgh through most of the first half, with Woodson in the game: 63 yards passing, 3 points, 2 INTs. After Woodson broke his collarbone: 200 yards, 22 points, 0 INTs.

This game would have been a route if it wasn't for that injury.

True....but its the NFL.......small market..big market...does not matter much. Salary cap, revenue sharing. All that other stuf all that does is line the owners pockets.....

There is a difference between plays that occurred and missing out on one of your better defensive players.

Because Pittsburgh didn't lose any players to injury during the game.

It's easy to speculate but the fact of the matter is we don't know how the game plays out if Woodson remains in the game just like we don't know if the loss of Emmanuel Sanders and Bryant McFadden made a significant difference. All we know is what is.....Packers 31 Steelers 25

Could have been due to adjustments by Pittsburgh. Its not like he is their entire defense. His replacement held his own for the most part.

It's absolutely speculation on your part. There were multiple injuries on each side last night. Sure, Sanders and McFadden aren't players as good as Woodson but the Steelers secondary was already thin and Sanders could have made a few plays against a 3rd or 4th DB for the Pack. You just don't know how things would have played out. All we know is what is. But you're gonna keep spewing the same garbage for obvious reasons so go for it.

Ya never know how things pan out when a player goes out.

Injuries happen. It is just the way it goes.

all that matters is that the steelers lost. They lost because they gave the ball three times, and got not takeaways.

Yes, but the point is that unlike other sports, success has little or nothing to do with the amount of revenue taken in. Teams that win consistently do so because they run their organization smarter than the others.
