He wasn't the default, he played awesome, that was as good of a performance against a great Pittsburgh D that anyone did this year, even with the dropped passes. IMO he's the most obvious MVP in the last 10 years.

I get your point....but like a lot of other awards, it is mainly the #1 guy of a team. The Heisman usually goes to a QB or RB...sometimes a WR, but oh well...

It's not like we need an award for most valuable defensive player or most valuable long snapper of the super bowl...your reward is a super bowl ring!

The Steelers shot themselves in the foot all night long. Packers took advantage of 3 turnovers that cost them the game.

Great season for the Steelers though.

Call on GB on the punt return, facemask was never touched. I don't blame the officials because in real time it did look like the Green Bay guy grabbed it, instead he grabbed the jersey under the facemask. It was the wrong call, but not blatantly terrible.

Aaron wowed me! Because McCarthy knew he had Rodgers, he took what he thought was the the best course to win the game -- let Aaron's talent super cede much effort at the running game. When you run, stuff like happened to Mendenhall(the big TO) can happen! The Packers won the TO battle 3-0 which was the biggest factor in the game, especially when one went for a score. They set themselves up to win the TO battle when they didn't turn over the muffed punt the first time they touched the ball!

If Mendenhall doesn't fumble it is probably the Steelers celebrating...that was the key turning point.

Thought Rodgers throw on 3rd and 10 with about 6 minutes left was the play of the game. Couldnt have put it in a better spot.

It all came down to the biggest question mark before this game and that was the green bay receivers against the steelers DB's...I mean that really was the only reason the steelers didn't have a chance(along with mendenhall's fumble)

It was a hell of a battle. Its a QB driven league and the team with the better QB (at least for tonight) won the game

I hope everyone realized how well Rogers played tonight....one of the best Super Bowl performances in a long time by the numbers.


I think the league is in for some really good years to come with Aaron Rogers and the Packers. I think before it's all said and done, Aaron has 2-3 rings when he retires!

I guess you have a point in that time of the game. Bens picks were even larger in the big picture. I would only hope this motivates Ben in the future. Great game and was surprised the game was close when the turnover were 3-0.

Didn't see the one interception, but the pick-6 and the fumble were both due to good defense plays as opposed to offensive mistakes.
