Don't pick on me Ricky. What a bunch of whiners in Hollywood. I am a big Gervais fan! I don't watch these award shows but after reading some of these stories related to this it turns out Hollywood is just a bunch of cry babies!

The 16-year-old Baby hitmaker has reportedly hired a team of bodyguards to shield him from the British comedian at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

“His team are not going to let [Gervais] anywhere near Justin when he is backstage. In fact it looks as if Justin will arrive at the last possible time to keep out of Ricky’s way,” a source said.

Actually, I didn't think he was that funny....but I have to admit that I don't think pulling the wings off of flies is very funny either.

Just saw the opening monologue and guess what, it is typical Gervais. What did they expect a PG version?
I thought the Hugh Hefner jokes were funny as hell. Also, the Charlie Sheen stuff was great.

Also, him coming out and saying he wasn't going to host again is typical Gervais. Putting that out there before the Golden Globes could say they aren't gonna ask him to host again.

I just think it's funny that Hollywood has no problem telling us what to think but when the table is turned (by one of their own) they can't take it? Wow!

I didn't watch it live, but I have seen a few of the jokes. I thought he was pretty funny. However, it didn't look like Depp felt the same way

I have to tip my cap to Downey Jr's response though

Except he said this today. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association had already said on Monday morning that, not only would he not be invited back, but he would never have a movie nominated for a Golden Globe again.

Didn't know they had already said this. Also, I bet Ricky is heartbroken about never being nominated for a Golden Globe.

I didn't watch, but I did see the youtube video that had every one of his jokes.

It's amazing that he was able to get people this riled up while on stage for a combined total of only 10 and a half minutes.

I'm going to stick my neck out a bit and say that I don't find him very funny. Probably it's because people told me that he was "really funny". Sorry, I don't see it.

I enjoyed seeing him get killed in "V".
