Wow what a shock...coach resigns halfway through the season after 13 seasons. This team won the south division last year and may be one of the better teams in the City/State....wonder if there is more to come out???

word on the street is that there was a fight during the Marion Franklin vs. Africentric game and for reasons not stated to me the coach was asked to take a four game suspension. He refused and Resigned and may be considered to be rehired again next season. This is heresay to me...

I have several thoughts on this. First how can you suspend the Coach for a fight between players? Second i hope that a coach wouldnt quit for this reason because im not sure you set a great example to the players. however this coach is a class guy and gets a lot of respect from the players and parents. I dont have a horse in this race. I have coached against him in the past many moons ago and he is a good coach very hard working.
