Sounds like it's nearly a done deal. Really wanted to see what he could do if we got some talent on the defensive side of the ball. IMO, he could make that Cowboys D very good.

According to a few articles I read Dallas never announced his hiring and as of today were still interviewing. ESPN still has not announced it but I trust the link you posted.

IRVING, Texas - The Cowboys' defensive coordinator search appears close to an end.

Since Friday, signs have pointed to Rob Ryan eventually filling the vacancy following an extensive interview at Valley Ranch. Published reports Sunday stated that Ryan already has the job; however, the Cowboys have made no official announcement or comment on the process.
