fusion power pro glide. absolutely phenomenal, no tug AT ALL so smooth, and I'm still using the same blade I was 3 weeks ago (I shave 5/6 times per week)

"The classic formulation combines Eucalyptus oil, menthol, and glycerin to create a creamy, rich lather that moisturizes and protects the skin and softens even the thickest beard. "

+1 ... this Braun 5 series may have been my greatest purchase in years. Used to use a Mach 3 turbo and similar razors, would always get in-grown hairs and razor bumps. Bought this electric device, changed my life, no joke. Great shave, no bumps, no cuts ... get it!

That CO Bigelow is the stuff, sucks I gotta drive to Easton to get it though. I also have the red bottle too.
Fusion, I switched not to long ago from a Mach 3.

Gotcha. Same stuff, I've just gotta manually make it a foam. Applying that stuff with a brush is ridiculously soothing.

My handle is a Merkur. I can't remember the exact "model" but I think it's the HD. I got a sampler pack of blades and my favorites are Personna's. I highly recommend getting a badger brush and lathering up that way. If you don't want the added expense and/or work I would use a foam, not that gel stuff. I highly recommend the CO Bigelow stuff. I've also used Col. Conks glycerin pucks and they are good as well.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to look into this over the weekend. This could be the answer I've been looking for.

Badger brush and lathering up that way is much more enjoyable.

I spent a lot of time here before deciding which razor and brush to go with. Lots of good info.

Gillete Fusion Pro Glide, though truthfully, I really only shave my neck.

I have a beard, but I keep it nicely trimmed. Hate a clean shaven face, might as well cut my balls off.
