Just saw the replay, and although not in super-slow mo or very good angles, I still don't think his wrist is down.

Seriously, but your hand down on a flat surface, then try and make your wrist touch the ground, without lifting your hand up. Can't do it.

Again Oregon had too much time to over think their offensive game plan.

Dance with who brought you to the dance.

and I suppose you weren't personally attacking devil by asking him what the atmosphere was like down in Glendale either right?

Spin away karen, you're one of the biggest trolls on here.

I find it funny that everyone focuses on the knee, at least on ESPN that's all they focus on.
I think it was the butt of his hand, not the wrist. It definitely wasn't the back of his hand.

Exactly what I think, too. Base of the hand is on the ground, not the wrist. Therefor, he was not down, IMO.

Yeah unless you have NO definition in your forearm, your wrist doesn't touch.

You're right, it wasn't the back. I thought the Arkansas player wasn't either, but I don't care enough to look it up.

Fo you have TEVO? Watch it in slo-mo. The man's wrist hit the ground..INITIALLY. And then he braced himself with the palm of his hand. The refs ruined a really good game with one shitty call. I do think Auburn scores anyway...but it's a shame to see a title game decided by a blown call.

Looks like I'm not the only person who can distinguish between the base of your hand and your wrist.

You think that was a personal attack? Did he not make the comment that he already had his seat reserved for the game? He made a horrible, homer statement and was wrong. He got called out on it, like countless others. I didn't tell him he was a fucking idiot or anything like that. If you can't take a little joke, stay off the internet.

One last time and then I'm done. When the runner spun over the tackler, his inside part of his wrist smacked the ground...not his hand. A split second later, the runner braced himself with the palm of his hand. Replays don't lie. Now if the rule says that only the back of the wrist grounds the runner, then fine.

This wasn't an exciting game but it was close and down to the wire. The 1st we have scene since the Texas /USC game.Watching Texas,Oklahoma and Ohio State(twice) getting their asses crushed were just terrible to watch.

Corso just blamed the lack of tempo on the excessive media time outs. Bravo Mr. Corso.

He wasn't down, it wasn't a blown call. It does suck that sort of a freakish play went a long way in determining who won the game though.

I'm the asshole? I gave my opinion and you completely went nuts, insisting that I was wrong. That pissed me off, so I fired back.

By the way, I don't ever remember having an argument with you before. When exactly was I an asshole to you?

Cam reportedly going for Xrays as we speak.

He probably had a broken leg or something, which makes his performance that much more amazing. Everyone get your DSL's ready.

I didn't see how he was acting after the game, but he took a couple shots to one of his shoulders and it looked like it was bothering him. I thought maybe it had something to do with that.

Did they say what the xrays were for? I'm guessing he had some discomfort in his ribs or a stinger in his neck/shoulder. He took a good shot on the scramble he had on 3rd and 12 and was grimacing most of the game.

His response to how he was feeling, said something about it wasn't one hit that caused his back to go out.
