If your hand is down, the base of your wrist may touch the ground, but that doesn't mean you're down. You are allowed to balance yourself with the palm of your hand. If the back of your wrist touches the ground, you're down. This isn't that hard.

Thank god this never ending bowl season is over.....

Cam newton is annoying and I'm glad he was not on the stage at the end of the game.

It's all about HIM and by him I mean Cameron, I can't wait til this championship is given to Oregon after they actually investigate the situation...they (ncaa) wanted the money auburn would produce for the game and when they find out he was ineligible, Oregon will get the crystal ball.

Back to Dyer's run, I should clarify that I do think the inside of his wrist probably hit the ground while his palm was on the ground, so I think that would technically make him down, but I'm not even sure, so I know it wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call on the field. It wasn't obvious like the Arkansas play was.

I just checked ESPN for photo's, they've got pics of Dyar going to the ground with his palm out, but none where his hands touching the ground. Photo taking FAIL.

Put your hand on the ground. After you do that turn your palm up and put your wrist on the ground. Thats the difference. They arent the same thing

I just saw the replay on ESPN. His WRIST HIT THE GROUND FIRST...and then he braced himself a fraction later with his hand palm. Sorry that you're fuckin blind.

The wrist still looked down to me after ESPN just replayed it. The left outside part looked down, at least to me.

I find it funny that everyone focuses on the knee, at least on ESPN that's all they focus on.
