I don't know. I just seen it on the Yahoo homepage. It didn't say anything about her being born on 9/11. But, it did say she was 9 years old. So I was assuming it was the same little girl.

He applied to the Army but they REJECTED him.

By the way, Palin didn't do this and that ad or map thingy or whatever in all but the faintest likelihood had nothing at all to do with this. I didn't like the ad because it seemed poorly done but acting like it's why this happened is so shortsighted it's unbelievable.

Maybe if you read his entire post you would know that this is the part I was talking about since I said Obama is a leader.

If Palin wants to be a leader then she does need to be careful about wording and imagery that might insight people.

"Rep. Robert Brady (D-Penn.) reportedly plans to introduce legislation that would make it a federal crime to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a federal official or member of Congress."

Lefties threatened Bush for 8 years. Why start now?

Oh, that's right. He was a Republican. Nevermind.

Who gets to be the annointed interpreter of speech/symbols?
Who would decide what speech/symbols are threatening or inciting violence?
Will there be a government bureaucracy set up to monitor speech/symbols?
Anybody read Orwell?

It is a slippery slope to legislate language and the end result would be disasterous.

That's absurd. First for limiting speech, 2nd for thinking his job is anymore special than anyone elses.

To place the blame anywhere else other than the shooter is obsurd! However that is our society today, it is someone's else fault for everything that happens including murder!

Speaking of this, The Onion made me laugh. It's awesome how hilariously spot-on they can be with their satire.
