To be honest this bout really irked me. I dont normally disagree with refs. They make mistakes and are a part of wrestling. But, I'd say the ref beat Brown with several bad and non calls. I do however believe that Bucksman/Boro Fan really missed out on Rose in their rankings. Hes not even ranked by either of them. Brakeman had him #16 last year. I think he has a good chance of placing. In his other bouts he moved very well and looked STRONG. I thought the MOW should have gone to Ankrom (BC). He seemed far more dominant in his weight class than Jones (MF). I really enjoy watching him wrestle. Hats off to Smith (BR) he looked great IMO. Dawson (OO) v. Black (Mech) was the best finals bout. Black was winning well. But, Dawson never gave up and pinned him. Orange has a good team that never seems to give up. Hats off to coach Nicola and the rest of the staff.

I agree SID........stalling call with 5 seconds left in the match to give the kid from Martins Ferry the W? You have to let that match go to O.T. to be decided especially when Brown scored the only "real" points in the match with a takedown!! Not taking anything away from the Martins Ferry Kid(he's very good) but Brown(in my opinion) was the "slight" better wrestler.....I agree with Smith(Ready) also with the convincing win in which he was never threatened to be scored on....he will be a "beast" when he drops to 103..stay tuned!!!

the posting above is what I sent to the Dispatch. I left out the school for five runner-ups....three for Ready and two for Orange. It wasn't a lack of love, it was a lack of sleep!
The Silver Knights looked good and young (but their young was EXPERIENCED). Will be on the upswing for a while.
For Ready, I counted seven freshmen and two sophomores in the line-up, while Orange only had two freshmen and three sophomores on varsity. Hopefully we can fill in with B guys as we graduate this year, it is fun having the Silver Knights up and battling.

I smell a 2x4. O. Orange, Ready, West and St. Thomas Aquinas.

Does anyone know why Timchenko left? I didnt even realize it until i saw Orange at Brecksville and he wasnt on there roster, then i saw him on Massilon Perrys at Medina.

There was some discussion earlier in the yr on another forum that has Mom got a "job" in Massillon.
