1.Bloom Carroll
2. Mechanicsburg
3. Bishop Watterson
4. Bishop Ready
5. Linden McKinley
6. Martins Ferry
7. Marion Franklin
8. Westerville Central
9. West
10. Orange
11. Orange B
I think Ready and Orange will battle for the title. Westerville Central can score as well. Mechanics burg always brings it as well. Should be a good tourney.

Mechanicsburg is tough. alot of state qualifiers on that team. Should be a good tourney, battle between Ready, Orange, and Mechanicsburg. I think Mechanicsburg walks away with the title though.

Should be some good matches especially in the lower weights. 103- Reese/Smith if he drops. 112- Smith/Hiltebrand (sp?)/Regoli. 119- Hall and the kid from Orange.
Any others?

Still time to make the drop but the window is closing.....it's a big decision. It's tough with a big cut....week 1 (sectionals) OK.....week 2 (district) Oh boy, what have i got myself into?......week 3 (State) ?????make or break. It's a heck of a 3-week grind.......6 minutes;628011 wrote:Smith will be at 112 Hall 119 for this week

yea. is that the first time he can cut?? Sectionals?? Wow! I dont know if i would do that either. I made a extra big cut when i was a senior and it was hard the first time to make it, and i didnt control my diet too well after that first weekend and it turned out to be too much of a cut the second weekend.

No...didn't mean that. Don't know when they would be eligible to cut down. I just mean if you have not made it yet, your window of opportunity is closing. The 3 week "meat-grinder" that we call the Ohio "post-season" is an incredible journey. It 's a huge decision when factoring in the many pros/cons when committing to wrestle in a lower weight class. Every kid is different.....it will be interesting to see what they decide to do.....USMCdevil05;628097 wrote:yea. is that the first time he can cut?? Sectionals?? Wow! LOL, all u2 can talk about is a freshman at this tourney? There are a few possible big matches with some ranked state kids here. Come on! There are some very good kids here believe it or not even with the low team numbers. I call an arm wrestling bout between u2. "Lets get ready to rumble!"

Pretty big decision on the D3 front....whatever BOTH of these kids decide to do. Thought that's what this forum was for....that being said, I'd take Devil in an arm wrestling match. UNLESS the prize is a burrito....in that case, I don't stand a chance.Sid;628207 wrote:LOL, all u2 can talk about is a freshman at this tourney? Why don't you tip us off on what matches might happen between state ranked kids?

First off Sid! He is a pretty tough freshamn, and i think places at either 112 or 103. We were actually talking about hall though who is a senior. I said there are some tough kids in this tourney. Mechanicsburg is good and i think alot of ppl dont realize that.Dad4Sports;628217 wrote:Pretty big decision on the D3 front....whatever BOTH of these kids decide to do. "over the top" is what the movie is called. Martins Ferry usually has some very tough kids. More so in the heavier weights as of late.

The final results were handwritten for the announcer and that is where the confusion at awards kicked in. Someone saw MF and someone else thought Marion FRanklin instead of Martins Ferrry (designated MART).

No Love for Ready, Knightflyer? They had 4 guys get 2nd(which sucked!) but all you put was their name and not the school?
