Exactly. I'm not disqualifying Green as a receiver, as I think he's more gifted, but Jones should be able to bust out of tackles, for the reason you mentioned, and get the YAC that Heckert is looking for.
Desean Jackson, who Heckert took in Philly, is kind of the "broken mold" of the WCO receiver. He is a LEGIT deep threat and adds a new wrinkle to Andy Reid's version of the WCO. The difference with Jackson is that he has/had McNabb & Vick throwing him the ball and those guys have rocket launchers. Colt McCoy doesn't.
Call it a smokescreen but Heckert doesn't place as much value on WR's, RB's, LB's etc as he does on the QB, OL/DL & CB. I could see them waiting until the 2nd or 3rd round before selecting a WR. I don't think he's necessarily looking for a "#1 receiver" as much as he's looking for a "better than the crap we have now receiver."
