Fedor predicting Browns pass on RG3 and sign Flynn in FA. We'll know this LONG before the draft. Not a fan of this. Hope the idiot (Fedor) is wrong.

You have to get a #1 guy in FA.....no 8-10 year vets that are past their prime or are career #2/3 guys.

Fedor is big on finding the #1 backup in the league and projecting him to end up in Cleveland.

I'm talking Bowe, D-Jax, V-Jax, Colston, Garcon, etc. not a Joe J type. I want a #1 that guys like Little can learn from. Right now it's the blind leading the blind. Who is teaching Little? MoMass? Robiskie when he was here? Cribbs (ROFLMAO)? Gonna have to throw the $$$$ at them though and I think D-Jax, with ties to Heckert, could be a strong target. Heckert has said "we need playmakers" and "we're going to be MORE active in free agency."

Yes. I could see this as Holmgren has a history of shining unpolished turds (Favre & Hasselbeck before they were anything) and his ego is huge. Now Favre & Hass weren't "turds' as a finished product but they weren't shit until Holmgren molded them. Do I like it? No.

I'd like to see them pick up D-Jax in FA and then draft a BIG WR like Jeffery or Floyd with that second 1st rounder.

Then you have speedster/stretch the field guy in D-Jax.
Little who can be the slot guy and work the middle of the field and get YAC.
Jeffery who can create size mismatches with db's.

Plus you have a very athletic TE in Moore and Hillis who is very good at catching the football out of the backfield.

I'm not a fan of it either.

I like that idea OQB...Floyd would be my guy though, if you were going with that type of reciever

If you can't get Luck, draft RG3 and hope he is a black aaron rodgers

I haven't really seen Jeffery play this year, I just remember him from the few games I saw him play last year and I was impressed....

I agree and RGIII is growing on me......I could see him extending plays and creating something out of nothing instead of McCoy holding on to the ball and getting sacked.

Agree with this almost EXACTLY the way OQB has it drawn up. Desean is the speed, Little the YAC guy and Floyd to create mismatches/use as a red zone target like they used to do with Braylon except Floyd is a little bigger (bodyweight).

If the Browns do decide to go QB with their first pick, I definitely want Floyd over Jeffrey..just don't think he will be there.

plus Moore could be split out wide too and use his 6'6" frame to create mismatches as well....

Is anyone worried about taking rg3 because of the whole "black QBs never won a super bowl" thing?

Heckert isn't afraid to trade up or down. He's going to have a few extra compensatory picks to play with (speculating but they had a lot more leave than they brought in via FA) so he could package some of those to move up if he likes a guy?

No, because a black QB has already won a SB.

When do they determine the compensatory picks?

Of COURSE you like him. Look at your avatar...damn Domer. ;)

Doug Williams won a SB and Steve McNair was pretty damn close.

Maybe he can, but that is only when he is coaching.
