I'm not wishing an injury on McCoy but a good barometer of how he's progressed would be for Seneca Wallace to finish out the year. If Wallace looks better, with the SAME supporting cast, you cut bait with McCoy and draft your QB. If Wallace looks worse, maybe, and it's a HUGE "maybe," McCoy is worth building around.
All I'm saying is, give the guy a chance. If he blows, with more than enough of a supporting cast, then fine, waste the pick then. What they're asking him to do in Cleveland is impossible. They're basically telling him to make a house out of toothpicks, or he's fired. It's like heading-up a huge Wall Street project with no computer or phone and an incompetent boss that's holding a grudge. The o-line sucks, we can't run, our WRs blow...there's a lot of help needed on the offensive side of the ball. There's plenty of blame to go around, but it's going to fall on McCoy.

James isn't a pound it between the tackles type of runner. He's obviously more powerful than a McCluster or Sproles, but he's nowhere near Ray Rice. He's about 90-10 in terms of speed-power.

I don't want him at all. Too many needs to be drafting a 3rd down back.

Can we finally be done with Colt if Barkley is there when we draft?

The Steelers played like absolute shit tonight...dumb mistake after dumb mistake.....yet this inept offense could do nothing. Colt made terrible decisions in key situations.

This team looks like an expansion team yet they are not. That's what is sooooo depressing about this organization. We hear the same shit everytime a new regime comes in. It's going to take time. We are going to build throught the draft but they can't draft worth crap. We have a five year plan but it usually fizzles out by year three. There's no continuity when you have had like twenty different starting QB's since '99. You are become a revolving door for head coaches when they are doing good to last three years here. How do you win in this culture?

I watched my first browns game tonight, and please I am not trolling here. Colt is a fucking warrior. Give that kid some kid some players who can play football and you have a recipe for succes.

I'd rather have someone who can make a throw then someone who can take a hit. But maybe that's just me.

He's a low ceiling, game manager QB even with a better supporting cast. He's not the biggest issue to replace now, but he's going to need to be replaced going forward unless the Browns put together a completely dominating San Francisco or Baltimore type defense.

Well have fun watching 50 more balls dropped again next year. I saw 4.......maybe 5 more dropped tonight. What I saw tonight was one quarterback hobbled, sitting in the pocket, blowing his nose, and then completing 3rd and 20's all night. I saw the other quarterback with no time at all, running for his life on virtually every pass play...not to mention.....no running game

This team needs two first round wide receivers...and a couple of offensive linemen. I don't care how badly they fukk up the rest of it.

Pat Shurmur has single handedly sucked the life out of this town. As long as he is here things will continue to be screwed up no matter who is drafted.

i like colt hes tough and wont judge him until we have a legitmate playmaker. theyre aint no qb in this league that could win in this offense. not one fucking qb in this league.

Ah, I wasn't boasting. I think Colt is a tough guy unlike some of the other cannon fodder they have trotted out there. With no other weapons I think (again) they are not giving a quality QB a fair shake.

Voice of reason. Threw two game changing interceptions and repeatedly missed passes that could extend drives. Also has no field "vision."

I saw numerous occasions where nobody was open downfield, he had a safety valve wide open off to his left, yet chose to try to force the issue. The first pick by Polamalu was underthrown even if Polamalu wasn't there. If he throws it farther and leads Moore, it might have been 6. The second pick was an abortion. Just forced it praying for something to happen. It was only one throw but Wallace looked a helluva lot more confident to me.

But he's a "gamer" with "moxie"...shake my FUCKING head. This guy SUCKS, people.

well when your playing against the best deffense in the league at the greatest football town in front of that throng of terrible towels ,99% of the time your going to have a bad day no matter who you are . Even if your team pulls out a W its going to be tough in the Burgh

Where you at the game? How could you possibly see what he was seeing ,other than some replays . How bout running for his life the whole game and getting his bell rung by the man

No shit. If barely beating a shitty Browns team with no offense makes them want to thump their chest, so be it. Just a testament to the fact that they really aren't that good if a Pat Shurmur-led team can take your team down to the last three and a half minutes.
