I have read many reporters opinions today saying they think he will someday replace Tressel at OSU. One of the artices is on ESPN insider by bruce Feldman. Here is another free link from blecher report that also talks about the Feldman article:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/558975-fiesta-bowl-nfl-playoffs-gator-bowl-and-todays-late-sports-news/entry/38955-urban-meyer-could-he-succeed-jim-tressel-at-ohio-state

I could see this since Meyer had three schools he could out out of Floirda being OSU, UM and ND. What does everyone think? I dont think he will coach again until 2014 Tressel's last season under contract Maybe 2013 at the earliest.

I watched the interview during halftime of the Florida v. Penn State game today. When Urban was talking about retiring and being in his late 40's, I was wondering what was going though Joe Pa's head.

My guess, "what a pussy."

Get the #### outta here ... Meyer is burnt out on coaching .... and as tough as Florida is Ohio state would be even tougher ... aint happening .... Tressle is doing a fine job and he has atleast 10 solid years left so dont mess with a good thing like you did with Earl Bruce... Remember what happened after that ... 2-11-1 against Michigan and a poor bowl record ....Just role with Tressle he will bring us to the promise land again

You may think he is burnt out, but guys like Meyer have a passion for competition. I think he'll be back. I don't know that it will be at OSU, but he'll be coaching again. Take 3 or 4 years off, re-energize, get his health together, spend time with the family, etc. His appetite will grow during all that.

I agree that Meyer will be back again in the near future (3-4 years). Where it will be I won't even begin to speculate.

I agree that he's shown the propensity to not stay away from coaching very long. However, when he gets a taste of being on TV for a while and the easy money and little time it will take it would surprise me to see him choose not too also.
