It's pretty clear to me that the SEC is really weak this year.

The 2 worst SEC teams in bowl games are the ones that lost. Meaningless.
Got into this whole debate last night on Bourbon St. with an SEC fan about this, and he convinced me of the validity of the point I stated above. Everyone (except for Cats) knows the SEC is extremely mediocre after the top 2 (sometimes 3, but normally 2).
Edit: USCe not one of worst 3, but definitely very overrated (shocker)

Huh? the 3 worst SEC teams? Didn't South Carolina play for the SEC Championship? And if you want to talk "worst", when does Kentucky take the field?lhslep134;619854 wrote:The 3 worst SEC teams in bowl games are the ones that lost. Meaningless.

I'm sure that will be the official story from ESPN if the Big Ten finishes strong.

After the top 6 or so teams(in the polls) everyone seems pretty average and can lose at any time IMO.

The same could be said for the Big 12, outside of Oklahoma State, everyone else has looked like crap. The Big 12 should finish at 3-3
I hope the Big Ten can take 2 of 3 from the SEC today.

It would probably would have been wise to hold off on making this thread until after today. This smells like the Celtics collapse thread.

Yeah, USCe came from arguably the worse division in college football (yes, worse than the ACC).

I see Footwedge is still alive. I was worried since I haven't seen any posts or threads on the Cavs for a while from him.
I probally would have waited until after the 3 Big 10 vs SEC games today to start a thread like this but thats just me.

Northwestern playing with their backup QB is not good. Michigan State against Alabama might end up being a blowout and then theres Florida playing one last time for Meyer and a lot of times teams will play their hearts for a coach in his last game.

Ehhhh, I don't think so. USCe has beaten Florida and Alabama's ass. They are not one of the weakest in the SEC. Just admit it and move on. I'll give you that Georgia and Tennessee are two of the weaker teams in the SEC, but I'm not buying the USCe argument.

What's your point? Florida is terrible this year. Alabama definitely was a lot weaker defensively than people thought they would be and that played into the hands of USCe who was able to contain the offense. They're not one of the bottom feeder teams but I think they were really overrated and FSU proved it.

My point was that they aren't one of the 3 weaker teams of the SEC, as you stated. I agree, they were overrated, but I think the entire conference was overrated this year. However, now you are backtracking; first you say they are one of the 3 weakest and now they're not. Which one is it?

Looks like this thread was pretty foolish. Northwestern is overmatched without their 2 best offensive players, Sparty is imploding, and Michigan couldn't hold 11 of us to less than 40 points.

They're overrated, not one of the bottom 3.

Yeah, and now the Big Ten is getting their asses handed to them in all of the games.

Looks like it's rapidly moving to 0-4 against the speedier, mightier, and superior SEC.Pick6;620056 wrote:those were expected though. i think we go 3-1, 2-2 at worst against the SEC
