Not true.
MSU is the B10 co-champion. They only lost once. Sure they didn't play OSU, but they still had to nearly everyone else. They were good enough to run through the conference unscathed except for Wisky. They getting their lunch handed to them by a team who lost multiple games in their conference and was 4th at best. UC lost to the clear #2 team who only lost one game all season. The margin of victory is greater in this game also.

The sad thing about the Michigan game is the only reason they are there is because the Gator Bowl wanted Michigan for tickets and ratings. Iowa was obviously a better team than Michigan, and should be playing one of these SEC teams. Instead we have Big East Rodriguez making a mockery of himself out there.

Actually probably worked out better for Iowa. Iowa would have had their lunch handed to them by the Bulldogs (and Michigan with its sieve of a defensive would have probably given up 500 yards passing and a loss to Missou).

Side note: Would someone PLEASE explain this SEC speed thing to me again? I've listened to these ABC announcers in the PSU game mention it a few times.
I've watched a lot of SEC games this year and I cannot see where the SEC is any quicker than any other BCS conference. This "speed" thing is way overplayed.

SEC speed is the new "clutch". It's perpetrated by an incredibly lazy media that simply refuses to actually do their collective job and has about as much validity as the idea that teams win because their coach throws around handfuls of pixie dust.
