I agree with Herbie. I think hes gone. Get that gimmick system out of there and go hard at Harbaugh.

I am sure if RR let Robinson run his own D they wouldn't be anywhere near as bad

Hes a terrible coach overall though, he was 3-25 in Big East conference play. He obviously has no idea what the fuck hes doing, which is evident by that "Defense" he put out on the field these past few years.

They might be slightly better running a 4-3....But with Robinson coaching them up, theyd still suck

With NW down by 7 after they ran an INT back for a TD, the refs cheated them out of a chance to get the tying TD late. They spotted two straight 3rd down plays for just barely 1st down yardage. Both were stopped short of 1st down yardage, but some sort of corruption caused the spots to be far enough by inches that first downs were awarded. On the first one the linesman on the far side of the field who had the best view, ran in lining it up about a half yard short of the yellow line. Then mysteriously the ball was placed dead center on the yellow line, a first down by about six inches.

Please, both calls were about right.

Penn St is pretty much the only saving grace today and they are down now.

"About right" doesn't get it when they were both 1/3 to 1/2 yd off in favor of a 3rd down conversion late! Corruption I say!!!

It wasn't a 1/3 or 1/2. About right meant they got the first down anyways, it was just by how much.
Besides, if it was corruption, Northwestern should have stopped them on 1st and 2nd down anyways to not set up a 3rd down and short.

Michigan St is the only team that deserves bashing from the Big 10. michigan's defense has been terrible all year.

I'm still skeptical on the buckeyes, but they do give us some hope....i was talking about the media and national bashing the big ten will receive after today...especially if Wisconsin loses to TCU.

I Figured Michigan would lose because of their defense or lack their of, northwestern was without their starting QB, Penn state played like crap and wouldn't hang on to the ball and was still in position to win the game, Mich state was bound to be the victim of the tide.

I"m 50/50 on the OSU game. I'm much less confident than I was last year against Oregon. I could see Mallett shredding our secondary, and I can also see him blowing up. I just hope we come out and play as well as we can despite the off the field shit. Win or lose, I want no excuses.

Un truth in advertising is the worst for the Super Bowl and the Rose Bowl! ESPN advertises the game at 4:30, then when the PSU game is over at 4:45, they have the "pre-game" show on from 4:30 to 5:00. At 4:56 they show a graphic that "kick-off" is in 4 minutes. Now it is 5:08 and still no kick-off, and they are talking about the "Nissan pre-game lick-off shift" is next. What happened 4 min after 4:56? The must have really meant the "kick-off show" was coming on at 5:00, and they just shortened it on the graphic to "kicK-off in 4 min"!!!!
