Windows 7 cannot detect the network adapter. None of the drivers I have tried to install from Asus (the motherboard) work.

I assume your motherboard is recognizing it in bios, if not than the motherboard is not recognizing it. If so than maybe it is not compatible with windows 7.

I use both. it doesn't cost anything to try 7zip so you might as well give it a spin

7zip is just better IMO. Plus I like it's .7z format for compression since it's more efficient.

And I like how it integrates with Windows Explorer so all my zipping/unzipping can be done with a right click.

I have been using uTorrent and 7zip. I use Transmission on my mac, which is sweet, but it isn't available on Windows.

what makes one better than the other. they're all pretty easy to use if you ask me and they do the same damn things. - talking about torrent clients here.

uTorrent is by far my favorite torrent client. Lightweight and simple but with a ton of options. Plus the new plugin structure of it is nice.

I know most of you may know already, but since I just started using Chrome more, I recently discovered the Chrome Web Store, which is basically their app store. Some really good apps there.

Is there a better solution than Handbrake for ripping movies? I am trying to rip something on handbrake at the moment and it's a no go.

I used something called "RipIt4Me" and it worked pretty well.
