I believe at 7 p.m. on NFL Network but they usually get leaked out through the media earlier than that.

I can't see many Steelers making it despite their 11-4 record.

Rashard Mendenhall has had a good season at running back. He's rushed for 1,237 yards and 11 TDs.

But that's only good enough for fifth in the AFC in rushing. The top three based on yardage seem to be legit candidates -- Arian Foster, Jamaal Charles, Chris Johnson. And then you still have do-it-all backs like Maurice Jones-Drew and Ray Rice, who has come on late.

Mike Wallace has had a breakout year (57 rec, 1,152 yards, 9 TDs and a league-best 20.2 avg). He ranks fourth among AFC receivers in yards behind Brandon Lloyd, Reggie Wayne and Andre Johnson. Dwayne Bowe is behind Wallace in yards but he has 15 TDs. So it will probably be those three plus Bowe.

Lawrence Timmons has also had his best season with 126 tackles, three sacks, and two interceptions but he's a in tough battle with Ray Lewis and Jerod Mayo for the two inside linebacker spots.

James Harrison is also in a deep race at outside linebacker with the likes of Cameron Wake, Tamba Hali, Shaun Phillips and Terrell Suggs. Of that group, Harrison has by far the most tackles (94) and leads in forced fumbles (6). Harrison, Suggs and Phillips have 11 sacks. Wake has 14. Hali has 12.

Casey Hampton doesn't have the stats but considering the Steelers have the No. 1 run defense he might make it as a courtesy pick, joining Haloti Ngata and probably Vince Wilfork.

It will be tough for rookie center Maurkice Pouncey to get selected this year. Nick Mangold and Jeff Saturday both made it last year and have a good shot to return based on reputation. Alex Mack is another emerging player at that position.

Troy Polamalu is the one lock I'd say for the Steelers. He has the reputation and this year he's made several big plays, none bigger than the sack/forced fumble against Baltimore which currently has the Steelers in the division lead.

Will any Browns make it? Joe Thomas?

How about Bengals?

James Walker on ESPN.com only listed one Bengals player as a candidate, OT Andrew Whitworth. I doubt that.

He has several Browns listed. OT Joe Thomas, OG Eric Steinbach, RB Peyton Hillis, FB Lawrence Vickers, TE Ben Watson

Watson has the most receptions among AFC tight ends but only having three TDs might hurt.

Some other candidates

Antonio Gates 50 rec 782 yards 10 TDs
Marcedes Lewis 54 rec 674 yards 9 TDs
Rob Gronkowski 36 rec 444 yards 9 TDs

AFC quarterbacks are a lock - Brady, Rivers and Manning

NFC is more of a question

Drew Brees, Michael Vick, Aaron Rodgers

That would leave Matt Ryan and Eli Manning out

Mike Wallace deserves a bid. He is one of the better young WR's playing right now.

I also believe the tight end from Jacksonville should make it.

Steinbach doesnt deserve it, he's been inconsistent as hell.

Eli? Doesn't he have like 1,538 interceptions this year? I mean, he'll eventually get named after a few people decline, but he hasn't had that great of a season even factoring in all the WR injuries.

Eli should be left out, he has the most Int's in the NFL and his team is choking because of it.
Bree's is 2nd in Int's so I think it comes down to either Bree's,Ryan or Josh Freeman for the last spot.

I'm just not that big on Matt Ryan. He is good but I just don't see him as an elite QB.

I agree. Mack deserves it more than Steinbach.

Think the only Atlanta locks are Roddy White, Michael Turner and John Abraham.

Maybes would be Brent Grimes, William Moore, Matt Ryan. And perhaps Mcclure or Dahl since theyre blocking for the leading rusher in the conference

Not sure how it works as far as fan vote along with coaches and players votes but last time I looked at the fan vote Whitworth was leading the AFC tackles by a wide margin. Must be someone voting for him because you know it wasn't the pisspoor bengals fans :)

Ray Lewis, Haloti Ngata, Ed Reed and Billy Cundiff all named starters. Terrell Suggs also made the list for the Ravens.

Pouncey's not a starter but he made it. Pretty cool. Polamalu and Harrison are both starters. Nice.

Did Rodgers not make it, or was he just not named the starter?

Not sure, Vick is the starter and Matty Ice did make it. Haven't seen who the 3rd QB is.

Edit: bigdaddy has 3rd QB as Brees. Don't really know how you can leave any of the 4 off the team this year.
