Fair enough. You were in fact wrong.
Thanks for admitting it. You're alright.

Answer: It's not.
He said he was "fairly confident the Browns would the 2nd matchup"? Are you that fired up about it? That isn't half as bad as the shit talking we have all over this site, and I don't get my someone would need that comment scrutinized. I could understand if he said ,"Steelers suck. Browns will blow them out. hahaha", but come on. I'm sure you were "fairly confident" that Notre Dame would beat Navy too.

Bengals ball on the 2 yard line and Palmer overthrows a wide open receiver on 4th down....they spike it on 2nd down and wasted an opportunity when they had enough time.

Great game for me to watch while laying on the couch licking my wounds from the weekend. Steelers killed bitches dead and get a week to get healthy from some of those nagging injuries before their first playoff game. Definitely wasn't expecting it to be this lopsided, but I'm not complaining. Didn't have the energy to be all fired up and stressed today. Just wanted a nice, easy afternoon and I got it.

No, I wasn't confident at all against Navy. He argued with me for a while about it. Imagine a Michigan fan being "fairly confident" about beating OSU this season. Not warranted. Furthermore, Cleveland's offensive strength (rushing) is our defensive strength. And we won handily in the first meeting this season. He wasn't talking major shit, but there was little reason to feel good about the Browns' chances vs. the Steelers in the 2nd matchup this season.
That's my point. He kept going on about it and that's why I bring it up.

Although I would've never made the statement, the fact is the Browns beat the Steelers at the end of last year to keep them out of the playoffs, and were coming off wins @NO and against the Patriots. It wasn't that far fetched.killer_ewok;622121 wrote:Because I told you based on recent rivalry history and this season that your confidence should not have been that high. That's how I am right. The Steelers made a habit of losing close games last season. Not so this year. Was it impossible this year? No. But to be "fairly confident" about your team's chances when your main weapon plays into the hands of what is statistically one of the top run defenses of all time....come on, man. He didn't have a big game in the first meeting to boot.
And one win in 6 years in the rivalry doesn't help matters.

that was fun...well about as fun as walking into a firing squad. robert royal, kindly go walk in traffic. hoping for sweeping changes amongst most of the coaching staff (still haven't decided on mangini). need to buld off last year's draft with another solid one this coming april as we desperately need more talent
so many steeler fans at the stadium today as well. and there's not much to say to them when you're down 31-3 at halftime lol

Well that was a disappointing way to end the season, I think Dumboll and Womangini just signed their pink slip and I wouldnt cry over losing Ryan as well. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of the loss was McCoy poor performance. I'm ending the season with zero confidence in him anymore. His last 3 games were terrible.

Well, he didn't look good, but I won't pass judgement until they have some weapons around him. Pittsburgh's defense makes a lot of qbs look bad and one of the INTs wasnt his fault.

I hope you're not talking about the first INT which he clearly threw a bad ball to the GOAT Watson.
