Good. Clean hotel rooms and mow grass. Pay taxes yet do not collect anything back. Open the boarders need more.

This is purely a theoretical question. There is no way we are going to be able to evict 12 to 15 million people from this country - we better learn to to deal with the situation. We'll about as much success sealing our borders as we do in the War On Drugs.

Illegals are bad for this country. They suck more resources out of our education systems, medicl facilities, local, state and federal law enforcement etc............then what they give back.

My brother employs quite a few immigrant workers and do you know what they do with alot of their money? They send it back to Mexico to other family members. How is that stimulating the US?
Immigrant workers of the legal or illegal sort? Seems like your brother shouldn't be hiring those people if they aren't legal.

And I don't think it's clear cut. Obviously it is not a good thing when illegals are living and working in the US and their children are in our schools and they don't pay taxes. Worse when some of them commit crime which harms our citizens or wastes our money.

However, I think that perhaps we need a better way for people to immigrate legally so that there isn't as much of an incentive to do it illegally.

I'm not doubting you and I imagine your statement is grounded in the truth but perhaps you might provide a source for that claim? For instance, here is a link that addresses a popular chain email that makes false claims in regards to the use of social welfare benefits by illegal immigrants and debunks several claims suggesting "illegals cash in on a lot of government welfare programs.

- they do pay consumer tax
- some folks are correct, ALOT of illegals live en-masse and send the most money they can back to their home country
- they do take the jobs that Americans consider beneath them and don't want (they want $15/hour to wash dishes, for example)
- they can be considered good as far as convenience goes, bad as far as "fair" goes

Those are just some of my thoughts, I will wait till this thread gets moved lol

WOW….. THIS IS SIMPLE ................... the word ILLEGAL is the key to understanding.............. Wrong is wrong and no matter how you slice it Illegal Individuals are just that ILLEGAL in this country via the Constitution of the United States and the Juridical System of our Government.

The bigger problem is how do we stop the on coming flow of Illegal’s …Within our Constitution of the United States is the answer but today’s Politicians don’t follow the writing of the Constitution and that where problem one begins..

Follow the Constitution and protect our boundaries with force and with conviction to protect our country… that will be the beginning of correcting the problem and send a clear message to those who want to enter this America illegally.

It is totally different. One is celebrating their culture on a holiday (while still being American), while the other is using it to show they are not American and never will be.
