I think the Steelers win this one by 20 or more. And I know you disagree, bigdaddy, no need to respond. :)

Carolina is BAD and even though the Steelers offense isn't setting the world on fire they will still move the ball against the Panthers. I can see a final score of 31-9 or something.

As far as the game...

Steelers big. I'm thinking somewhere around a 21-27 point win. The Panthers are BAD.

Yep. The Steelers offense has been ehhh, but their defense versus the Panthers will give them some short, short fields. They will put up points, even if the offense is off. The Panthers are just bad.

I am usually pretty good about knowing the outcome of games. I could be wrong but I guess we shall see. I will eat my crow if I am wrong.

You can't know the outcome until after it happens. You may be pretty good at predicting the outcome of games, however. :)

In all seriousness, the Steelers ran the ball surprisingly well against the Jets.

Jets hadn't given up a hundred yard rusher in, I think, 20 games. I'd take it as a good sign.

Give me 80 yards and good specail teams coverage and returns

Steelers win the TO battle and allow no special teams TD 27-10

Steelers win the TO battle but allow a special team TD 27-17

Steelers force no turnovers but commit none as well 23-13

Steelers -1 on the turnovers and allow a special teams TD 23-20

Steelers -2 or more on the TO battle and allow a special teams TD THEY LOSE on end of game FG

if we can't beat the Panthers without Polamalu.....we won't be able to beat anyone in the playoffs with him.

PRESSURE THE QB!!!!!!


And maybe when it's 3rd and 2.....maybe Ike and the DB gang can maybe not play 10 yards off them...just maybe

maybe they can get some young guys in there this game

like a Crezdon Butler at CB

not that you want to play around but coming off a short week, weak opponent

it might not be such a bad thing to spell the veterans if they can get a lead

that's the thing though....they get a lead but it's always just a one possession lead......they get ahead and Arians goes unGodly predictable and then Harrison gets a big sack.......but you know what happens next and then after that.....then the Steelers hold on for dear life as we cuss like idiots.

I agree. This game should be like 31-3 but I'm sure they'll plod along and be trying to hold on late.

I remember the Steelers played the Rams a few years ago on Thursday night and they couldn't tackle anybody. They won that game because it was all offense.

Then last year they played like crap against the Browns.

They haven't exactly been sharp in this situation.

I like it a few years back when they had clinched the playoffs and were resting their main players for the final week versus the Bills (pretty sure at Buffalo) I forget what negative would've happenned if they had lost but the 2nd teamers beat the hell out of the Bills that game.....probably the first SB year of the new era.
