Your argument also ignores the other aspects of Diebler's game, his defense, steals, and passing, all of which help maintain a balance on the floor when it's needed most.
Matta doesn't love this guy only because he's a great outside shooter. He loves the intangibles he brings every game that help this team win.
No, I'm saying CBF can't use the that argument because it doesn't prove anything, especially when it proves he averaged less than his season average against ranked teams.
I was going to leave my Diebler comments to scoring, but if you thinks he is a good defender and is consistent in those aspects you are just wrong.
