I hope something productive is done as opposed to just throwing him in the slammer. I really like the suggestion that he should face a fine and then have to undergo some sort of anger management. Rehabilitation is always a good choice.

I think it becomes interesting that he is a senior. You can't really do much from a playing time standpoint. If he was say a sophomore, I think that Florida should ban him from all high schools and he loses his eligibility. But not much can be done here.

I am definitely in favor of a felony conviction though. That is the rule in Florida. Just because it doesn't happen that often doesn't mean that you don't enforce the rule.

I suggest making him take the officials class, pass the test then officiate 100 hours of youth basketball with those crazy parents yelling at him.

Looks to me like he got chicken boned under the basket by an oppossing player and that's what started his anger management issues. Basically, he then WWF'd the ref.

Just did a few of those last weekend. 100 hours might be considered capital punishment lol

Jail time and a felony conviction are needed. His own adoptive father says he has had anger management issues since puberty.
According to the report, Holland was adopted at six years old and his adoptive father, Samuel Holland, said Mason had been treated for anger management issues since puberty.
Looks like treatment has not worked. Time to up the ante before his obvious lack of control results in someone seriously hurt or dead.

He is now projected to be a late 1st rounder in the NBA draft. Should fit right in with some of the thugs and brothers.
