Seriously, "thought to be a blur"? Is there anyone over the age of 21 that wears Nike apparel/shoes unless they are paid to do so? Their running shoes are awful, I presume their other products are equally inferior.

your right they are inferior. their baseball shoes are the worst. they spend a ton on marketing and little on R&D.

Stupid, as always. Maybe if they'd actually win a bowl game worth 2 shits, they'd have something besides neon green/yellow socks to attract HS talent.

Like state of the art training facilities, and equipment, and a successful team?

And one BCS win, over...lol Colorado. Please. The PAC10 is college football's version of the Indianapolis Colts before they got a defense capable of helping them win a superbowl. Have fun with your 50ppg against other teams that don't have a defense, and then get trounced against every team that's capable of stopping a read option. The only team that's ever been worth a shit out of that conference is USC, and that's only been in spurts since the 70's ended. Cam Newton will have a field day against that defense.

And that has what to do with them not being able to get recruits exactly? Oregon is not gonna be hurting for recruits as long as Knight is there making life for players luxury. Just because you dont have BCS wins doesnt mean you cant recruit good players or have a successful program, thats retarded logic

And Auburns defense isnt exactly a juggernaut, as you rag on Oregons

Doesn't matter what they wear, Auburn will still destroy them.

Not true.

Nike basketball shoes are head and shoulders above any other brand.

My favorite part about the unis is the base layer shirt with the number on the sleeve.

I enjoy seeing the new jerseys Oregon wears....I'm just glad the best and more traditional schools don't do this 3-4 times a year like Oregon does.

Do you hate the whole uni? Or just the socks and shoes? Because the jersey and pants are very, very similar to what they have worn before. Just curious....

The shoes/socks. The helmet is tight. The jersey and the pants are basically the exact same as they've worn in other games this season. And I liked the highlighter yellow jerseys when they wore those; I just don't care for the highlighter yellow socks only.

I like the idea of blending the socks with the shoes... I just wish they would have picked black or green. There's no yellow on those jerseys besides the trim.

Nike's running shoes suck, to the point the mom and pop store where I get our shoes doesn't even carry them. Asics/Brooks (and to a lesser extent New Balance) blow Nike away from a quality standpoint, and if one is super into running and have the $$$ they can go for the mega high end specialty shoes, which isn't Nike.

As for t-shirts, shorts or the like, why pay the premium just to have the logo? Other brands are just as good, and often much less expensive.

I run quite a bit and can only wear Nike running shoes. I tried the ones you mentioned and within a week or so had terrible shin splints. I have run 4 years on Nike shoes and have not had lower leg issues since I switched. I have heard the same as you are saying from other people that run with me, but it has worked for me. As for clothing, I wear whatever is on-sale, lol.

Agree totally. Their baseball cleats always look sweet, but they're all crap. I've been burnt on Nike baseball cleats more than once, shame on me. Lesser brands like Mizuno, Puma, and Adidas put out so much better quality baseball cleats. It's sad that with all that money Nike churns out , they can't produce a quality baseball cleat.

i wouldnt say mizuno is a lesser brand, especially when it comes to baseball. mizuno's are probably the leader in baseball. but puma and adidas arent far behind. any way it goes they blow nike out the water. nike might make a quality basketball shoe, but every thing else they make is garbage. their football shoes are below average. i recall watching a FSU game this season and those nike football shoes they were sporting wouldnt even stay on the players feet. i think there was record set for most lost shoes.
