I think we should allow the three Domers who have served their penance with distinction (for the most part) to change back their Avatars to something more reflective of their wishes. They've held up their end of the bargain, and they should be able support their team with respect going to a bowl game for the first time in awhile.

It's fucking Christmas...lol

I say that if they want to publicly support Notre Dame then it's their funeral.

I can't remember now, what was the original bet that caused them to support the Buckeyes in avatar and signature all season anyway?

Very cool idea offered by you, ytown. I'm still prepared to fulfill the bet to the end but I wouldn't be opposed to an early release. LOL

The bet was to end after the NCG... I think their buckeye support is needed at least until after the sugar bowl. I do commend them all for being good sports and sticking it out.

How about letting them go ND through their bowl game, but then having to switch back to Buckeye support through the end of the bet?
Or maybe make them keep wither the avatar or the signature until the end but change the other?

I'm figuring their Buckeye support is more detrimental than beneficial, in a subversive type of context. Kinda like the Jews supporting Hitler.

Would rather be able to judge a book by its' cover.

Eh, not really a big deal to me. What's another 3 weeks or whatever it is? A bet is a bet. Plus I wouldn't want sleeper to stumble across this thread and somehow thinking he can get out of the bet we had with him. A few more days of this avatar is well worth a lifetime of sleeper free ND threads.

Yeah he did apparently leave but he could be lurking waiting for someone to say they miss him or he can post on ND threads or some shit. Its not worth the risk.

And Tobias (or sjm at the time the bet was made) was not included. Just myself, killer, and sherm.

Next to sleeper (RIP ol' buddy) I give these 3 more shit than anybody, but I gotta say its pretty impressive the way they stepped up and handled the loss with some humor mixed with dignity. I say cut 'em some slack but its totally One Buckeye's call and he should not be chastised one bit if he wants to be a hard ass about it.

now if Rocky Kuntne had been part of the bet...the death sentence wouldn't have been enough.

I agree. I give them shit too but id be good giving them ND avatars for their bowl game!

Hahaha...I'm good for now. It'll be nice getting back to a normal avatar. I don't care...its just confusing as shit with the three of us having the same stuff.
