I'm asking a serious question. Will 5-11 be an improvement over last season?

This wasn't a troll post. Just a question on rather the Brown fans would be happy if they ended up 5-11. Put your gun gun down Barney.

Art, remember anything negative against the Browns is considered "trolling".

Your time is coming...it is tough though because you are very bad at trolling. No one gets upset and reports your ignorance

the team is noticeably improved over last season. if 5-11 happens, i would attribute about 95% of the blame to having short bus rejects at qb and offensive coordinator...and the other 5% to eric wright

If you can't see that there was an improvement in the quality of football that the Browns have played this year compared to last then I don't know what to tell you.

He hasn't watched a game except the Pittsburgh game, which is the greatest margin of loss we have had all season... its that simple....

the browns lose close games, they are a young team who needs to learn to WIN the close ones. Its really that simple. 5-11 this season, its possible, and then again so is 8 and 8, or 7-9, and I will take either of the 3. Ive seen this team wants to win....and they are at least headed IN a direction, unlike the Romeo days....so I honestly cant complain about a second year coach, and his effort with this team. they have never given up, and wont until the last whistle has blown.

I wasn't a Mangini fan at the begging of the season, but I honestly cant blame him for the offensive coordinators bumbles, fire him, bring in a big gun, we will be JUST FINE next year, looking at a solid 8-8 to 10-6 and in the hunt at least.

It's easy to say the Browns are better this year, but you have to remember the strong finish last year. If they finish off 0-4 this year, does that make them any better?

I really don't know the answer to that. They are much more enjoyable to watch because you know they will be competitive, but it all comes down to wins and loses.

The first 12 games last year, the browns were the worst team I have ever seen play in the NFL. This yr they're better than last yr easily. This thread is about the Bengals game though and I hope we shut Ocho and TO out. I want to see TO complain on the sidelines in the 4th qt because he doesn't have a catch.

Completely agree with that about the beginning of last year. There is no doubt they have improved, based on the "eye test", but like I said, it's all about wins and loses. I thought a few weeks ago Mangini was safe, but now I'm not so certain.

With that said, I do think the Browns are finally heading in the right direction.

profootballtalk is reporting McBoy will start the rest of the season. Plus Ocho Stinko is getting xrays on his foot today and tweeted that he's very nervous that something is wrong.

This is how you spell it....McCOY

Looks like you need to be held back a year. 2nd grade all over again.

I agree, just spell it McCoy. It's annoying when people do things like that. McBoy, Rapelisberger, etc are all pretty stupid things to say.

But on topic. I think the Browns can pull this one out but they're very capable of losing it, especially if Cinci shows up on offense at all which they haven't for a while which is why I say the Browns take it.

Browns remain a 1-1.5 underdog by the bookies -- so you know it's likely going to be a very close game.

When your talent level is as thin as Cleveland's, you can take no game for granted.

As has been the case all year with this team, if they can avoid stupid mistakes, they have a very good chance of winning. If they play like Keystone Kops as they did against Buffalo, they'll lose.

As a Brown's fan it pains me to say this, but I think the Bengals will get a win tomorrow. Daboll just isn't an NFL offensive coordinator and at this level you should be able to score some points which he has shown he can't make adjustments and exploit the defense.

Browns could and probably will go 0-3 the next three weeks....get a top 7 pick.... fire Mangini and hire Gruden.

At least Rapelisberger was kinda funny the first couple times, McBoy just sounds stupid. It doesnt even make any sense. But it is coming from Capone, who i have serious doubts would score above 50 on an IQ test.
