Cam Newton will be a 1st round draft pick.

I'd be shocked if a team touches Pryor in the first 3 rounds.

Robinson will change positions and play in the NFL.

Dyer has just 100 yards less than Herron, with a higher ypc.

You would be shocked if a team drafts a 6'5" 235 lb athlete who runs a 4.4 40 in the first three rounds? Do you think he will go undrafted?

Not to mention, he has another full year of development. I think your post in regards to Pryor is premature. The rest of it, I agree.

Forget the athlete part. He is a QB and I don't really see him translating to another position in the NFL, because he's too stiff of an athlete. So, it's going to come down to him as a QB who stands in the pocket and can make the throws. His arm isn't that great, he's not that accurate, and he struggles when he has to scan a defense.

I do think he will develop a lot by this time next year, but I just don't know if he has the tools required to play QB in the NFL.

There are 7 rounds in the NFL draft, just because I don't think he goes top 3 rounds doesn't mean I think he will go undrafted. Someone will take a chance on him. He will be one of those high risk/high reward types.

The biggest thing that Pryor will benefit from is that next year's draft will not have a lot of talent at the QB position. Matt Barkley, Landrey Jones, Nick Foles, QB from Missouri and John Brantley are probably the top prospects. I don't know where Pryor will stand up compared to all of those guys?

That's the thing that is funny to me, as an OSU fan. A Buckeye homer tries to discredit Robinson due to their schedule when the OSU schedule was equally as bad.

To try to diminish what Robinson accomplished this year makes one lose credibility. He was the whole team and put up ridiculous numbers.

Forget the "athlete" part? Was Tebow, a 1st round pick, drafted because of his pocket presence and arm strength? Or was it because he was an athlete at the position and exceptional rusher? What about Pat White, a 2nd round pick? The "athlete" part is what will get him drafted early. So to to say "forget it," would be ridiculous. I'm not guaranteeing Pryor will be drafted in the first 3 rounds, but it certainly wouldn't shock me in the least. Especially if you consider the way teams have drafted in the past.

Sort of. Except I would say the % of Michigan fans who actually thought that was much smaller than the OSU fan's who thought TP would have won a Heisman by now. And Robinson's Heisman talk was short lived, whereas TP's has been pretty non-stop since signing day.

Not all fans are this way. And every team has them. I don't think I stated otherwise.

I said "shocked" in the first 3 rounds. The 4th round wouldn't be that surprising, because that's usually where teams are more willing to take a gamble on someone. Most teams expect their top 3 picks to compete for a starting spot. And Tebow runs like a RB, so even if he doesn't play QB, they utilize him in short yardage.

Tebow is 10X the passer that Pryor was. Plus, I still think part of drafting Tebow had something to do with a public relations move or marketing purposes. With that said, I do think Tebow is a much better pro prospect.

As for Pat White, he was drafted to fit into the wildcat, which teams have started to figure out more. Plus, he was one of those Denard Robinson athletes with good hips and quickness, something Pryor lacks. If White wasn't going to be used at QB, they could have him return kicks, play WR and use him in other packages.

White just has much more flexibility than Pryor.

How many people debated how good these 2 would be in the NFL? A lot. How have their careers been so far? Not great. So is that who you are comparing TP to?

I'm still surprised that Robinson wasn't invited to New York. For whatever reason (mainly losing) people are not putting his season into perspective.

And yes, the Pryor talk was very premature. I know some of the local radio hosts here in Columbus were talking Heisman going into his sophomore year, and it was just totally unjustified.

So first three rounds = shocked (Something that jars the mind or emotions as if with a violent unexpected blow - http://www.thefreedictionary.com/shocked). But 4th round, possibly one pick later, is not surprising. I guess I have a different understanding of the word shocked. Pryor being drafted in the first three rounds definitely wouldn't fit.

And as I mentioned before, I think the Pryor talk is premature. One additional year of development could prove to be crucial.

The issue isn't whether Pryor will be an effective NFL player. The issue is where he will be drafted. And all it takes is one team to take a chance. So, judging by the recent NFL draft history, it appears as if teams ARE willing to take a chance.

Thanks for educating me on the definition of shocked. Yes, I stand by that. I was shocked Evan Turner went #2 in the draft, but that doesn't mean others didn't see things differently.

I think mid 4th round would be where I could see a team to consider taking Pryor. I think he's a very good college QB, but I have yet to see how his game translates to the next level.

Robinson is good, no question. But whenever he/they played against any semblence of a defense, they were shut down, or he was knocked out. Homer that. And as I told YOU early in the season, he wouldnt' touch the numbers you predicted.

Too stiff of an athlete!!?? LMAO Top 50 bball players are not stiffs! You are really clueless at times with your ridiculous comments. How flexable do you think Tebow is compared to Pryor? Tebow went in first round and was nothing but a system QB. Pryor is twice the athlete. We'll never know, but if Pryor came out this year, somone would in fact take a chance within the first 3rds on him.

It's sad that you pretend to know so much, yet can't even distinguish the difference between a fluid and a stiff athlete. Why are you comparing him to Tebow? Like I said, Tebow was a better passer and ran the ball like a running back. They are different types of runners.

And yes, he was a top basketball player, what does that prove? He's 6'6" fast and can jump. That doesn't mean he has fluid hips or is that quick. Pryor is amazingly fast, but that does not mean he's quick. Sorry if you don't know what the difference is.

And I'm pretty sure I said Robinson had the potential for 2000/2000. Yes he fell short, but he still did something that was unprecedented.

BTW, Pryor is NOT twice the athlete Tebow is. That's just you being a homer.
