My current room mates sister was on Wheel of Fortune. Won the prize from her mini game or whatever and the show case show down. Something like a trip to three different European countries, a car, and a refridgerator or something. I think she decided not to pay for the car though.

Good friend of mine was on Jeopardy, undefeated champ and made the Tournament of Champions. Wrote a great book about Jeopardy, Prisoner of Trebekistan. His name is Bob Harris. Was also on Greed or Super Greed and kicked a$$ there too.
