Discover Orange:
Stanford vs. Virginia Tech

Tostitos Fiesta Bowl:
Oklahoma vs. UConn

Why didn't they put the ACC/Big East against one another in a bowl game? They had no problems putting TCU and Boise against one another last year, so why did they give us TWO games not to watch this year? Stanford and Oklahoma should both win by 28+

Oklahoma, yes... Stanford will not blow out VaTech. The only stinker will be the Fiesta Bowl.

We'll see I guess, You never know, UConn might surprise you. Cincy had a terrible year and nearly beat the Sooners.

Michigan among FOUR other teams beat UConn.

If UConn somehow wins, Stoops should hand in his 2 weeks notice.

Oklahoma should beat UConn, but I don't think it's fair to say they "should" blow them out.

Beat Utah State by 7
Beat Air Force by 3
Beat Cinci by 2
Beat Texas by 8
Beat OK State by 6
Beat Nebraska by 3

It isn't like they've been steamrolling teams this year. I'd expect a 14 point win or so, but if they turn the ball over a couple of times it could be close.

Fiesta Bowl will be giving tickets away on the street come game day. Lucky if 1,000 UConn fans show up.

I will bet you $1,000 with VT at +28. There is no way VT will get that bad and truthfully I don't even think VT will lose the game. As for Oklahoma/UConn I agree that game is going to suck.

The Stanford VT game should be close. I think everyone only remembers VT losing to Boise and James Madison and doesn't realize that they have since won their last 11 games in a row. Auburn, Oregon, and TCU are the only teams with longer active win streaks. The Virginia Tech team that we'll see play in this bowl game isn't close to being the same team that lost to James Madison. When thinking about VT's chances people need to forget about their first two games that happened over three months ago and focus more on their last 11 games.

Yea, I like the Orange Bowl game. It's a good opportunity for Luck to show the country that he's the best QB in college football. He won't be overly impressive with his #'s, but the command that he has of his position and the offense is not something you see very often from a college QB. On the other hand, Tyrod Taylor will either be very good or very bad, not much in between with him.

I had heard tickets were going for as low as $11 on Stub Hub leading up to the game, so obviously there wasn't much demand.

Haha I forgot I even posted that in this thread... I really though VT would at least make it a respectable game.

Well considering there are $21 tickets on Stubhub for the game tonight....

Ticket prices for nose bleed seats mean absolutely nothing as far as demand for the game go.
