Unless they do themselves in (turnovers), Auburn should once again expose the PAC 10 champion for being a product of media hype.

While Auburn's defense is not up to the usual SEC standards, they at least play defense in that conference, unlike the PAC 10.

Like Ohio State proved last season, Oregon won't score nearly as much when it plays against a team that actually has a halfway decent defense.

Not to mention the fact Auburn will physcially dominate them all over the place.

Sorry but OSU has a much better defense than just halfway descent IMO. Auburn's D is no where near OSU's.

That same Auburn defense came up HUGE in the 2nd half against Alabama, giving them the stops they needed to continue the drive to the National Championship game. I wasn't sold on them until that point.

If Nick Fairley is healthy, IMO he will have a bigger impact on Oregon's offense than Glen Dorsey did against Ohio State's. He shouldn't have any trouble with Oregon's O Line and I see Auburn winning handily.

Auburn 35
Oregon 21

I've got Auburn, but I think Oregon keeps it somewhat close because they have the better head coach

I really don't care who wins this game. I think Auburn will, but I'd be content with both teams losing. Everyone knows if they played a team that played defense that both of them would lose, so in my mind TCU is the #1 team.

As a Buckeye fan, for perception purposes only I guess, you have to pull for Oregon. Ohio State was the last team to beat them with basically the same team.

I would really love to see Oregon pull this off. I don't think they will, but it would be nice.

I really think Ohio State could beat both of these teams right now. I talked with a few of my friends, who are also OSU fans, and they totally think the same.

Oregon wins a close one in the final minute. Specials teams and turnovers will make for an exciting game

I'm trying to come around to that point but the closer it draws the more I see Aubby by 17+

I think the best thing that could happen is Auburn winning and having NCAA drop the hammer on them in a few months, get their wins/title stripped.

Then both teams "lose". On paper, Oregon would have won but the true "winner" would have cheated. So nobody wins

I really don't think that Auburn wins this game. I've seen way too many Heisman Hangovers.
