1. Although this could be considered a "home" game for the Aztecs It is very likely Navy will have more fans attend than San Diego State. The last time Navy played in the Poinsettia Bowl they sold more than 30,000 tickets.
2. The last time SDSU was invited to a Bowl game was 1996 While Navy will be appearing in their 9th stratight.
3. They have statistically evenly matched offenses but with different approaches. Navy avg 300 yards rushing and 15o yards passing per game while SDSU avg 300 yards passing with 150 yards rushing.
4. "Ricky Dobbs is no Cam Newton, but he’s still a successful dual-threat quarterback. He generally throws ten to 15 passes a game, while rushing 20-plus times. He averages around four yards per carry, and completes more than 50 percent of his passes."
