Yes he has, he's 7-2 against them.

Yeah I was thinking the same. I'm not sure on the year, but I think the 2 Ls were when Baltimore swept Pittsburgh. Both games were ass beatings.

You'll have to excuse Modell. Sadly, Steelers football is all he has in his life.

And cue his attack against the Bengals. Like I've never heard it before.

Pretty good officiating crew assigned to this game.

Terry McAulay will be the referee. He's worked two of the past six Super Bowls, including Super Bowl XLIII, when the Steelers won.

This game could be loaded with flags and fines if these two play like they often do.

And the league office will look even more ridiculous if that happens. I get that they're cracking down but they need to find some happy medium. They're going too far in the other direction now.

I found this joke to be amusing by Gerry Dulac in his weekly NFL picks in the Post Gazette

----------

Buffalo Bills (2-9) at Minnesota Vikings (4-7), 1 p.m., Sunday

The Skinny: After what happened last week in Buffalo, Bills WR Stevie Johnson has decided to change his first name back to "Steve." The reason: He dropped the "i." Too many three-point losses for the Bills.

Prediction: Vikings, 22-19

Just heard on the radio that Ryan Clark on twitter this morning said that in protest of the Harrison fines the Steeler defense vowed to make this the hardest hitting game of the year.

Clark better just shut up and play his game. Too many times I've seen him hurt himself trying to destroy the other player.

I'm glad he said it just like I'm glad Hines spoke up the way he did. Seems to be pulling the team together with an us against the world mentality.

From an outside fan, it makes the steelers look like whiny bitches

Turns out Ben's foot is broken, not sprained, but still expected to play. Hmmm...shouldn't there be some sort of fine for breaking the bone of a QB???

This is my main gripe with Ben....he just takes too many hits. He really needs to give up on some plays instead of just hanging on for that extra couple seconds. He is a top 10 qb, but I am just waiting for that dreaded ACL injury when he gets rolled up on.

It's the gift and the curse. If he changes the way he plays.....he's not as effective. High risk, high reward. I guess the trick is learning to pick your spots.

Statement on Ben's foot injury
Posted 2 hours ago

A Steelers Spokesperson Dave Lockett on Ben Roethlisberger’s Foot Injury:

In response to inquiries about Ben Roethlisberger having a broken foot, Steelers spokesperson Dave Lockett said there is no new fracture in Ben’s foot. Ben’s current injury is an aggravation of an old injury where scar tissue is present.
