It's been confirmed all over Miami message boards that Randy Shannon has been fired. Thank fucking God. Now they need to bring in a proven college football head coach.

Wow I was wrong on that one... It'll be interesting to see who they bring in. IMO a lot better job openings this offseason already then last year.

Good call. haha. It was obvious to an outsider that Shannon was done. You had to think losing to USF was the death blow. USF has been in division 1 since the early 2000s. This loss was just inexcusable. The Canes should never lose to them

Are you being serious? Did you follow what was going on at all during the 80s-90s? There was a documentary about it called the "The U" on ESPN. The program was out of control back then haha

That said, Donna Shalala loves Randy. She'll keep him.
If he leaves on his own, watch for Miami alum Mark Richt as his replacement. And Richt will start Stephen Morris at QB.
That's just what they need........................another coach whose program is going in reverse.
