Alright I love Orrville and our football team but really some people need to be less bias about this game. I saw someone say a 30 point victory for Orrville? Come on now. Give respect to the norwayne they aren't gonna roll over and they have a stellar offense. Our defense is definitely the best Orrville has had stats wise. People need to be reasonable about the outcome. It will be close and can go either way. I still believe we will win but by no way will it be by 30

You normally don't win 2nd round games by 30.

Well that's what I was saying 30 is overboard. Gotta look at both teams and be reasonable

Ditto...we DON'T have to win this game by some large margin to keep our "rep" in Wayne Co. A win is a win is a win...especially this time of year.

Quick favor: Can someone please provide me with any kind of special teams stats for Orrville - punter and his avg yards per punt, FG kicker and # of field goas/PATs attempted/made? Thanks! I think you'll like the little thing I've put together, which will be posted tonight. :-)

Yeah, 30 seems unreasonable....it should be more like 50! :D

I would like to win it by 30, but this one could go either way...hopefully the Red Riders way!

I recall a game in I think 06 when we put a beating on Tusky Valley in the 2nd round. Then same year took a beating in the 3rd round to Mooney. Lopsided games still a real possibility in Week 12 but this one should be close

TV was outmatched against us. And we came out from the start and took that game from them. Hope to see us start the same way tomorrow.

Also, actually, I think we did quite well against Mooney in spite of the final score. I remember our first drive in which we just missed a TD on a tipped pass in the corner of the NW end zone. If we had got that one, who knows? BTW, and correct me if I'm wrong, we DID score on a TD pass in the game, which was the first passing TD given up by Mooney ALL YEAR!

Go Riders!

LOL....

Beast thinks....Norwayne has to score 1st and often to have a shot. 4th Quarter may be the difference with Orrvilles "fresh" defense (guys only playing 1 way)...and Norwaynes defense exhausted...Orrville, if not already ahead...can come back or open it up and put it away. The 2 keys IMHO for Nowayne...is a quick start....and a solid finish.

Orrville has advantage and it really is there...they're...THEIR ;) game to lose!

I think that the '06 Mooney team could have played high school football on Friday nights, and then play Div.III college football the following Saturday. They would of had a pretty decent record on Saturdays.

Go Riders!

My Duke Blue Devils just made me sit on the edge of my sit against Belmont. Please Riders dont do the same to me tomorrow. I need to relax a little!

I agree, we also had 2 interceptions taken back for touchdowns, and 5 int's all together. It was over at halftime at 49-0....I'll never forget coach Davault...."Well I'm not really sure what to do, Freshman get ready!" Haha that was a very fun game to play in.

Yes, we just missed on that first drive and had Weeman open multiple times just couldn't get the ball to him. It was also very frustrating because we held them extremely well on 1st and 2nd down....then they would convert on 3rd and long. They had a great team and of course, they were in our region. I still think we would've beat any of the other teams in D. IV that year but Mooney.

Absolutely! Don't give them a reason to believe they are in the game.

One of the biggest teams I've played against...and that includes college. They were a very good team and I believe had the entire line, QB, both RB's and a DE go division I.

Its officially gameday Riders fans. Its simple to me: Go out and play the way we all know you can and we will see you next week. Come out flat like we did against Senior and we will see you next year. Thanks for an amazing ride this year. Refuse to let it be over!!! I havent always been the most positive guy in the world this year but I have always looked forward to Fridays this season and in this case Saturdays. Go Red Riders!!!
