I sit with anticipation to see who the next coach is the fans will say yes he is the man, he will take them back to the top. Only to find out three years later they are no better than they are now. Those same fans then will say we all new he wasn't the man why did they hire him.

Good thing you wrote that in big letters NCF, let's us know exactly how you feel. Thank goodness there is no mix up. Ya know I think ripping on Notre Dame helps you forget how bad the Cowboys have been in the post season. Almost as bad Notre Dame has been, just shows how bad you really are when even Bill Parcells can't win the postseason with them. ;)

Some people on here are crazy.. this Notre Dame team was a few plays away from a good record this year. They will hire a good coach and hopefully improve on this foundation.

The Cowboys have sucked for a long time the difference we all can see it and are not stupid enough to believe it to be any other way.

I've said the same thing on numerous threads NC Fan...these lunatics can't get it thru their thick Irish heads that it aint the coach, its the program. It ain't what it used to be and never will be again. Even if Jesus comes back as the HC with Vince Lombardi as his OC and Bear Bryant the DC.

I love the fact that almost every player who signs to go there could be a three star player according to those who rate the player coming out of high school but as soon as they sign with overrated university they go up a star.

That might be the one funny thing you've ever said. I got a kick out of that comment.

NCF, I liked it better before you edited your post, like the old Zen phrase goes, "1th thought, best thought." :)

ND should be able to get nine wins a year IMO with their talent and schedule. IMO and Charlie couldn't do it, I think he deserves his 18 million dollar firing.

What is the rules on that? Will he lose the 18 million if he coaches in the NCAA and NFL or just the NCAA? Or will he get it regardless if he coaches or not.

Yourself, sleeper and ccrunner must have a three way going.

I made this point a ton of times. If the highly rated recruits that end up at ND are overrated, then why did they all receive multiple scholarship offers from the likes of USC, Florida, LSU, Alabama, so forth and so forth?

Freakin clueless!

They were also a few plays away from having a bad losing record. Michigan State, Purdue, etc.
