On the heels of a major haul on Sunday night (Colin Hartman and Devin Davis, both from Indiana and both 2013 committed together to Crean on Sunday), news has leaked that Yogi Ferrell will announce for IU tomorrow before his game in Indianapolis. It isnt really news, as it has been almost certain since Cody Zeller announced, but exciting nonetheless for IU.

This caps off a great 4 month run for Tom Crean that has seen him land 9 nationally ranked players from the 2011, 12, 13, and 14 classes. IU is now in prime position to add Gary Harris (or Jeremy Hollowell) to the 2012 class and sit atop as the top class for that year.

Crean has essentially locked the borders for the state for the next 4 years, and its looking positive for the future as well.

This is good to see. IU is one of the programs that should be good year in and year out.

College basketball is better when Indiana is playing at a high level.

Im just looking forward to seeing them in the NCAA tourney again lol. This has been a rough, yet a very fun ride in an odd way, couple of years.

When Indiana hired Crean I thought it was a GREAT hire. But over the last couple years I've started to doubt him, not for his coaching, but for him being able to bring in top talent. Now that he will have the talent there is no doubt in my mind that he will coach them well.
