Did anyone catch this game? Great game if you like defenses but holy penalty.

Nebraska 16 penalties for 140 yards, many of them had herbie and brent confused.
A&M 2 for 10 yards.

I read an article today that Nebraska's opponents from then Big 12 (when they face off against them) are the least penalized. It was almost comical tonight with the penalties, especially late. B12 giving the Huskers a big FU before they come to the Big 10.

He should have been. I think I would have been tossed after that late hit call on the QB that would have otherwise killed A&M's game winning drive.

I'll look for the post game presser later. He's usually pretty good about keeping quite about officiating so he doesn't get in trouble by the Big 12. He might just say to hell with it and light people up after that.

Nebraska still clinches the North with a win over Colorado next week.

The good news for Pelini and the Huskers: they won't have to play anymore teams from Texas in the Big Ten.

It's not like that doesn't happen at the bottom of every pile. He just happened to get caught on national television.

After last night's contest going to a game at Kyle Field was added to my sports buckets list. That atmosphere was electric.

It's also kind of funny that on a day where there were two football games being played in baseball stadiums that this game ended up with a baseball score.

the referees were a complete joke, and should be held accountable...very seldom can you honestly say that bad officiating cost a team a game, but Nebraska could sure make a case for it---it was AWFUL!!!

Here is the late hit call on Nebraska when A&M had it 3rd and long from mid-field late in the game. The first down put the Aggies in position to kick the game winning FG.

Nebraska had 7 personal foul penalties. The one above, the nut grab was flagged twice for 30 yards, and 4 others that were never showed on replay - including 2 on kickoffs where A&M didn't even return the kick. Kinda wild.
