I don't like exciting games. Particularly when they shouldn't be. The Michigan defense against Wisconsin was putrid at best. The Bucks don't need another close game. When the Bucks play close, it's too hard on my system. I would appreciate at least a three touchdown margin. That said, this game has been worrying me since around mid-season.

This year's version of the Buckeyes has been a huge disappointment because of this. This was the season that Ohio State was supposed to steam roll through the Big 10, win the NC, and Perfect Pryor was expected to challenge for the Heisman. It was to be the dream season Buckeye fans have come to expect.
Most fans of most teams would be setting mattresses on fire on High Street and peeing rented beer in back alleys with Brutus after their team just won their 10th game of the season. But since I'm the most negative Buckeye fan on OC I'll gladly admit I'm not quite as excited as that.
A win is a win is a win. But the way the Buckeyes are doing it this year doesn't give me warm fuzzies. And while some Buckeye fans pout and lament that the pollsters aren't showing Ohio State much love, it's my humble yet always negative opinion that even at 10-1, the Buckeyes should count their blessings that they are at least ranked in the Top 10.
The Buckeyes get a B+/A- grade on their record but a D+ for style points this year.
While Michigan's defense SUCKS big time, I'm still not confident the Buckeyes will have an easy time even in The Shoe. Michigan will hang tough for 3 quarters but the Buckeyes will wear the weasels down enough by the 4th quarter to walk away with a 10 point victory, a tie for the Big 10 championship, and a possible BCS bid.
For most teams that's fantastic. For those of us who thought this was going to be a dream year, it's just another disappointing Buckeye season.

Urban Meyer is saying the "the greatest college rivalry game is this week...FL vs FL ST." My god is this guy really that huge of an idiot?

I'm not going to look it up, but I'm willing to bet that Denard's stats are better in MOST categories.

Put Pryor in the spread offense and his stats would be right there.
Buckeyes should win by 3 TDs....but you never know in THE GAME.

Not to take anything away from Denard though, he doesn't play defense. ; )

True, and I was just saying that because someone said TP can show him how to be a Heisman QB or something.

McGloin is the real deal. He's no Heisman candidate but with a little coaching he'll make some noise at Penn State next year.Tigerfan00;569172 wrote:ccrunner also said that Matt Mcgloin was the real deal.

Ohio State should win this fairly easily, but will they have a hangover after that win at Iowa? I'm thinking no, but they need to be focused and not let Michigan score quickly.

This. I think OSU is gonna blow by UM, but I'm not counting them out because it's still OSU v. Michigan. Anything can happen.

I won't be shocked it Pryor has better stats in this game. UM's defense has made a lot of QB's look great this year.

I was watching the Iowa game with some friends who are from Cal and Florida and as soon as the game ended, I jumped up and said, "Whew, now it's Michigan week!" They looked at me like I was a little odd haha.
I love this week, even though it is a little odd being a week later. But, I'll be in Cbus for the game watching it with the family cheering for the Bucks.
I see the Bucks cruising in this one. Michigan's defense is just not good enough to hang around. OSU by 20 or so.

Pryor goes down in injury and Bauserman takes over. 27-27 at the end of regulation (3 tds and 2 fgs for OSU) and (4 tds, 1 missed EP for Michigan)
4 OTs later, the Buckeyes prevail... Michigan misses a 19 yard field goal for the tie.

It really sucks when even scUM fans won't back their own team anymore. It takes all the fun out of kicking you in the balls all week if you sad sacks won't man up and support your boys at least one more time. They should take away your Wolverine Fan Club secret decoder ring Web Foot, you're a disgrace.WebFire;569626 wrote:OSU should kick the shit out the Wolverines.
